This Dewhurst is a hell of a race. Far different to last year when COT beat a load of trees. I loved Ancient Truth last time out and I love The Lion In Winter. Seagull's Eleven is no mug either. Appleby running the other horse is a bit strange but interesting that Buick has deserted Ancient Truth. Cant wait for this, three proper group horses in this.

My ante post double is desert power at 7 to 4 and lion in winter at 5 to 4 well happy as both horses especially lion in winter will be odds on and think they need to underpeform to get beat.
Looks solid work there David. I'd rather take on the filly than the colt. Lion looks very good to my eye. I'm not sure about that Doncaster race Desert won.

I think he's very very good and was impressive at York. Makes it a no bet race for me given he's short enough but I wouldnt like to lay him. Sounds like a fence sit but that's the truth. Whereas I'd be happy to take on Desert Flower in the Fillies Mile at a similar price, and if she wins she wins. Thanks for watching.
