Luocha would be good with some hypothetical wind destruction character, that likes to remove half of his HP to buff his damage, which triggers the free automatic use of Luocha's skill, huh? :D

@@hyperion6114 once we get more characters and elements and build them she will be less desirable because we can already bring those characters to break those weaknesses instead of using silverwolf to add a weakness we dont have.

Some weird cases you'd get like 4 enemies with 2-3 weaknesses that varies
So long story short SW is RNG unless your team is mostly Quantum therefore desirable for those who only have few characters

[Important] Some CN beta testers have tested it out. If there are 3 fire and 1 quantum in the team, the chance of adding fire weakness is 50/50 not 75/25, even though the ratio of party member is 75/25. It's subject to change, but this is the current state. Please like this comment so that it is seen by most.
It's obvious for every single person with a brain, there was no need in any "cn beta testers". % of implanting certain weakness depends on how many elements u have in a team, not an amount of each one, that's written in SW damn skill 😄

@@beriazim not rly, ability description may differ from how it works in code. That's why description bugs exist. The 4* lightcone Planetary Rendezvous says it increases DMG dealt, when it only increases a certain element's DMG.

If you only have Natasha, Luocha is pretty much the pick. Such is the case for me, anyway. I also really like his design so that’s a big plus
I mean Luocha is basically a full set support, and he's an Imaginary unit, currently we only have one of that which is Welt, and Welt is a friggin 5*.
Luocha's a solid pick for me.
I wanted both originally, but I knew I had more use for Luocha more. Watching your video helped me fully conclude that for myself, as much as Seele would benefit well from SW I'm still not running a healer at all and just letting Gepard and Seele carry me through everything. So adding Luocha into the mix will help me quite a bit 😂
idk if i'm coping, but putting silverwolf on my electro team (Jing, Ting, Bailu), or using her against bosses that resist ice for example - then take units who the boss is already weak to. it requires more information, but MoC gives you pretty much perfect info anyway
yes i whant to do exactly that, got 2 healers, i whant her so i can force sellee in and get support of the ellement with the existing weakness.
I think SW will be way better on her re-run when we have more options

@@Ocacadordecasadas actually the opposite. She makes your dps viable in most content. This won't be the case when we have a dps in every element.
I think he's underating her too, the only higher priority should be a 2nd healer for memories. Otherwise silverwolf feels good enough to be a must have, being able to force weaknesses means you'll always be able to clear memories as long as you have any 2 dps with different elements built since you can just slide Sw as coverage on the team whose dps doesn't have boss weakness coverage. If anything her value would go down in 6months or so because people will have access to more units built, meanwhile atm most people don't even have the materials to lvl 70 their first team +traces and properly level their relics.
I'm going al in on luocha banner coz he has tons of utility and also the nat4s on his banner are way more attractive for me than SW. Getting high eidolons on yukong will be a nice bonus as well as for Mahjong girl
i think that Gepard + Yanqing + Pela + Silver Wolf could be a pretty strong team. It's not quite mono element, but being able to put ice weakness on everything means more and more chances to cheese a boss through freezing it forever. putting ice weakness on enemies also increases YQ's damage by a lot due to his passive traces

Dude can dispel, dude can cleanse, dude can deal AOE damage, dude can heal, dude has a panic heal that can target other characters, dude can probably do your taxes and take your kids to school while he’s at it.
He’s the one guy I really need to have and yet I keep making the mistake of trying to build pity in JY banner when he’s still at 50/50 and he keeps dropping by early (I have E3 Jing Yuan so for Luocha chances are I won’t get him until a rerun unless I win his 50/50)
He even forgot to mention that Luocha in fact cannot get oneshot because of his awakening trace that prevents an atk from dealing more than 70% of his HP as damage LOL like dude somehow has MORE stuff on his kit than what Code already mentioned it is disgustingly good

I use Qingque a lot and struggle in Memories of Chaos, so Luocha's banner is incredibly good for me. I also want Pela since I didn't get a single copy of her in the 140 pulls I did on Seele's banner, so my wishing plan is pretty clear for next patch.

@@doommaker4000 He does play more ads than others for sure. I don't mind ads but when I have to watch 3-4x the amount of ads than usual, it just gets ridiculous imo.
One thing is that Luocha Traces Through the Valey: DMG received by Luocha from a single attack cannot be higher than 80% of his Max HP. So actually he's no longer super squishy

Yeah, it's crazy how he is also the only one who actually says correctly that she doesn't have a 100% chance to apply the weakness to the enemy. She is a really niche character currently but might be great in 1-2 years.

I'd like to get both SW and Luocha but as a F2P, I'd have to get very lucky. Luocha probably helps my account the most in the short term but a team of SW, Luocha, Welt, and Yukong would be very good IMHO. Scrubbing debuffs is a huge plus for Luocha given that I don't have Bailu. March can scrub buffs and heal a little via the trace leveling (I think) so we do have some other characters that can offer some of the same skills to a small degree.
natasha also has a cleanse trace, so she removes a debuff when she uses her skill on an ally (saved me during world 5 kafka lol), so if thats one of the deciding factors for you, it might be something to consider. but if this is planning for a second team, luocha would be a good pickup, and march does have a cleanse trace, but the small heal is locked behind her e6, so, again, something to consider. if you want both and dont have a guaranteed, (like meee) you can just let rng decide for you. go for a 5* on both of their banners, and whoever comes home, comes home
4 Stars Characters and Light Cones
For the 4 stars characters on Silver Wolf and Loucha banners, the difference is power isn’t that strong, with fairly powerful 4* characters being available for both banners. However, it is important to note that the brand new 4* character of the patch - Yukong is only available on Luocha’s banner.
If it is solely dependant on the 4* characters of each banner, it is highly recommended that players roll on the Luocha banner to get the brand new character of Yukong.
As for their signature Light Cones, having them can massively boost the power of either the characters, however, they only serve to strengthen the characters’ already powerful skills and are not necessary if you don’t have enough resources to roll for them.
Silver Wolf VS Luocha
Between Silver Wolf and Luocha, the determining factor players should consider when rolling on either banner is what the player currently needs. In terms of utility and long term investment, Silver Wolf is one of, if not, the best debuffer in the game with her abilities that can help players clear stages easily. However, there are only 2 healers currently in the game and one of them is extremely difficult to get, so rolling for Luocha as an additional healer character is also important.
Players should consider their preference in character designs, gameplay and abilities of these two characters carefully in relation to their character roster in order to determine who to roll for. However, if it is purely for gameplay sake, rolling for Silver Wolf is more beneficial in the long term.

If you have Bailu/Gepard and only have limited pulls, you should skip Luocha. Having Bailu or Gepard is already enough to clear the hardest content right now.
If you have Seele, you should consider pulling for Silverwolf since there is a Quantum tank coming in 1.3. You can then form a mono team which should be really strong.
Yeah, I have a maxed Gepard and E1 Bailu (and her LC) and I want to save my warps for Blade!
But the weakness is random. It’s like playing with que que all over again. Not worth it

Luocha and his banner 4 stars are so good that it is ridiculous, if you don't have a second healer it's basically not even close. However, if you do have Bailu...there is very little point in pulling. Even less if you have Seele (since no point to QQ then), and Yukong is free later. Even less value if you have Welt. What banner to pull is really being decided on what 5 stars you managed to roll already.

SW seems to be a good pick of you want to run mono teams. One issue of team building in HSR is that you need type coverage to be effective but SW kinda allows you to ignore that.
She also gives niche Traces and LCs more viability (e.g., Asta boosts ally's Fire DMG + Planetary Rendezvous). Her team building is restrictive but she ALSO introduces new team comps.
sorta... gotta remember its single target and most fights have 1+ enemy doesn't matter as bad against bosses. also unless you playing her with mono quantum shes only gonna have a 75% chance in any other team since she counts her self in that chance.
@@GoobieWoobie69 its a 90% chance at lvl 15, also it's not hard to just reuse her special until you get the weakness applied even in a 2/2 mixed team since its just her special not her ult if you have enough speed. The base case scenario of her only applying bugs and her ult is still a very strong debuffer. just off the free 4 star lightcone + an effect hit top it's possible to hit around 60-80 effect hit if we get superimposed copies, so the effect hit chance shouldn't be a problem with a bit of gear farming
I'm a little sad since it's looking like MC is going to be Hunt and not Abundance for their next Path, so I just have to do Luocha.
But that does mean potential for Yukong eidolons, and she's going to be hugely integral for me I think since I have Welt (and will have Luocha).

I've seen this discussion point in a few Discords and it's worth some consideration.
Hoyo has created a FOMO jade trap with MoC where players are mostly missing specific unit types in order to progress. But, ONLY because we are very under leveled. There are drip whales at TL 60 that are clearing most of it with free units. Meaning, all of us will eventually be able to full clear MoC with free characters once our levels catch up to the enemies. That could be in about 3-5 months for F2P to be full clearing MoC with 80/80s.
So, you FOMO a healer in 1.1, best case scenario ~75 pulls, it would take you close to a year to make that back in MoC. Which at that point everyone will be full clearing with free to play level 80 characters.
See where I'm going with this? Dont pull for fear of missing out on jades in MoC. If you like Luocha, 100% pull, or if you want a Destruction synergistic healer for someone like Blade, definitely pull, but pulling as a MoC investment is a terrible thing to do and a lot of people are getting pulled into this trap. Also you definitely wont be 100%'ing MoC with him alone, most people 100%'ing atm have lvl 80s, so that year investment is probably closer to 2 especially if you lose the 50/50 on him.
Pull for whoever you want, and obviously this doesn't apply as much to whales, but after hearing this point of view I was happy to have a clearer perspective on who I actually want to pull for moving forward.

Im currently guaranteed so i was thinking of using it to get silver wolf because people said she is very good character to pull now because of her mechanic however after watching this video i will skip the entire 1.1 banner and wait for kafka. As for luocha. I have e6 nat and bailu already so i think I don't need another healer. Yukong will be given for free in 1.2 so yeah i think im good 😄

@@dodgerpatrol you have a 50/50 chance to pull the character that's currently on the banner. If you lose the 50/50 you'll get one of the 5* from Stellar Warp. You can't lose twice in a row, so being guaranteed means losing on a character banner once and 100% getting the character on that banner now. It also transfers between banners. (i. e. You got Bailu instead of Seele and now on Silverwolf's banner this wont happen)
SW looks pretty crap for now for sure, but Luocha is probably solid. He should work well with Blade and Blade is looking pretty solid. But yeah, if you plan to get let’s say 2 characters out of the next 4 banners, then Kafka and Blade might have the best value. Is nice to have units that actually kill things :D
@@AdamTuxTengler If you have seele and jing already, then i think pulling another dps of the same element is kinda low prio. Every new banner will have their pros and cons but for dps you need alot of variety ( and most likely their signature LC for maximum dmg output) because of element dmg coverage. MoC stage 10 clear videos are already out (1star) with only natasha in one team and march in second. If you have to choose from the next 4 banners then i think pulling for blade and his lightcone (If his LC is busted) OR luocha and blade for synergy would benefit your account the most in said constellation. (loosing 50/50 means 30% getting gepard/bailu so sooner or later you will have your second healer/shielder soon if you like to gamble even more, haha)

User like pela and SW might be too if you want .

for those going for silver wolf, there are leaks for fu xuan coming(quantum shield) and she probably will be coming for 1.3? With silver wolf, quantum mono team with seele + fuxuan + future quantum support/dps can be very viable and broken.
There's also lynx coming who we saw in the trailer and according to leaks she is a 4* Quantum Abundance Characer, but honestly I feel SW will fit best with in a team with Kafka Serval and Bailu, I honestly feel Kafka and Serval are gonna be busted together.

Healer is by far is a must for 4th slot. Having healer is better than having a shielder.
Unless you have e6 seele/jing yuan + bronya + tingyun then you are playing a different game.
Ain't no way you can clear forgotten hall without a healer. Same goes for simulated universe. I'm not talking about the easy stage, I'm talking about stages where the opponent is way above your team level.
Yeah, I will probably pull SW on a rerun, I think later when we can build a full quantum team she will be insane. She is also likely really good for a jing electric team but that requires you having gotten lucky with bailu, if you don't have bailu that doesn't work.

I did build 60 pity for loucha (totally not because i wanted more ting dupes),so his banner not being that good dosent matter for me,If i win the 50/50 great,If not i will probably save for someone else

i m probably skipping all the banners in 1.1 & 1.2 / I might grab Luocha depending on playtest and how good he is compared to running Bailu or Gepard.
Damn, having Seele Silver Wolf is almost a must pull for me. I was thinking of a full quantum team, but in the meantime id run her in a team with Jing Yuan, Tingyun and Bailu.
Fu Xuan was leaked a while ago as being Quantum Preservation. I personally would also love a mono Quantum team. Really hope we're getting a Quantum Abundance character at some point.

It's that plus having gepard. The concerns are all good points around healing etc but given I got good RNG in that area, I think I have the luxury of skipping Luocha

I think u overlook 4 energy regen on the free lightcone. The requirement trigger is only to atk an enemy that have reduced def, but it did not say how many time u can active it per a turn like Pela skill.
Which mean i don't know what would happen if u do 2 or 3 atk on a turn, or do an AoE atk that hit all 5 enemy that has already has reduce defend. She might get her ult like in 1 turn if that happen.
And that thing only at s1. It's might can be upgrade to s5, which could be up to 8 energy per atk. It would be crazy good if it really is the case

But realisticly how she can achieve that?
@@hulahupjingga alot if u manage to get 1 going, more specifically once every 2 turns. Since she will regen about 20~25% faster if she hit only once. So if her ult also trigger the buff, she will regen 40% fast per buff that turn. Which can instantly get her back 40+8+8 = 56 energy back right after she ult.
With a regen rope, that number will go up to 67. So she will ult again on the next turn even when u use her basic atk (67+(30+8)*1.19=112>110). Which trigger the effect twice again that turn.
it decrease her ult from once every 3 turns to once every 2 turn. That how powerful it is if it really work like i think.
I don't play forgotten hall so personally, I'm pulling SW and skipping luocha. I'll get my 2nd healer some other time in the future lul
You always have the chance of losing 50:50 and getting Bailu or Gepard (or getting them from standard pulls). I think having two shots at a second defensive option makes odds pretty good in the next patch or two that you'll get one
That free SW lightcone will probably be really good on her. It's so much free hit rate, that I would almost call it mandatory and better than the 5* (unless you R5 that one too, but then you are massive whale :D) until you completely max her out and have good artifacts on her (to compensate for the fact, the 5* actually gives less EHR). Massively debuffing one target is only good when it's a boss and those have very high effect res (up to 50% I think). That means, that without getting big EHR she doesn't even function in her role. It can be combined with the EHR set bonus from Sim Universe, which increases wearers ATK based on percentage of their EHR, because she also has good ATK multis, so might as well. If that lightcone on R5 gives 40% and the set is 10%, she already has 125% base chance to apply weakness and 150% base chance to apply Entaglement with those alone. She's also getting 12.5% ATK bonus from the set at that point. It might be possible to get the remaining 25%, to get guaranteed weakness application on any target (150% base chance), with substats alone later in the game and get her crit chance/crit damage chest piece to increase her personal damage. Other artifact main stats can be energy recharge and quantum damage. Early it might be better to have EHR chest piece and we should be able to pretty easily max out her EHR with purple ass gear :D. With 75% EHR coming from gear, you are getting some 19% ATK from the Sim Universe set bonus also, which partially compensates for the lack of damage bonus on the free lightcone. Pretty sweet to get that for free on R5.
EDIT: lol, I just watched OK's video on EHR calculation. I asumed simple subtraction, for reasons ... it's not. So to have 100% chance to apply effect with 75% base chance on enemy with 50% effect resistance, you actually need 167% EHR on your gear? In that case good luck building SW without the free lightcone :D. Even the 5* on R5 probably wouldn't be enough :D.
EDIT2: actually I don't see any boss RES, that would look like it applies to her weakness application, which is kinda unique? There are bosses with Entaglement RES though, so I guess she needs up to 100% EHR, to have 100% chance of getting Entanglement with her ult against enemy with 50% RES. Still kinda oof :D
This lightcone actually reminds me of Albedo. That free lightcone is so disgusting, that I would advise everyone to get it and get it to R5 during the event, because we might have another "Spindle situation" here :D. If it's time limited, then RIP if you don't get it now :D.
The Skill is an 85% base chance for weakness implant, so its 135.3 EHR needed for it. If you are going for 100% chance to apply bugs (72%) that's 177 effect hit rate and completely not worth it to guarantee. 135.3 EHR leaves those bugs at 84.7% against 50% effect resist. Going farther for those bugs isn't worth it.

You could comfortably hit the ultimate without any substats with an EHR mainstat piece, guarantee the weakness implant with 24.1 (it needs 135.3 EHR against 50 effect Res)in substats, but maintaining the bugs 100% of the time is quite the high price in effect hit rate substats.
Alternatively you could build for damage, with a crit body piece and 32 effect hit rate substats hit 100% EHR to guarantee the ult, but keep the weakness implant at 85% chance, since you can always cast her skill again next turn but her ult would take 3 to 4 of your turns to retry. However, getting 32 effect hit rate in substats whilst maintaining good crit stats is something you might not have for a long time, depending on RNG.
@@Knightoftheblacksky It depends on trace level it seems like, it’s 75 on level 1 and 85 on level 10, which I’m not getting anytime soon, but yeah, it will require little less even on a realistic level 6. Still considerably difficult to build her for reliability, bordering on impossible until we get high trace level. Same for the other chances. Ult apparently isn’t 100% (found newer version now) either and the bugs are just 66% on realistic level 6. This character will struggle so much … :D. I can already see the “Is SW garbage??” video titles 😅. Anyhow, the event lightcone = mandatory
I got Bailu as my beginner banner 5* character, even if I have the free Natasha like anyone else I haven't raised her one bit, I wanted to.. but I'm trying to manage my resources and so far I haven't needed her as I adore Bailu so much more. Luocha sounds very interesting and I prefer husbando characters for my enjoyment of the game, but I'll wait for his guide and the 1.2 stream regarding Blade before I make my decission cause... -ahem- Blade's design is TOTALLY my type so I'll wait and see what both of them do before making my decision.
I completely agree. I adore Natasha but her outfit's design and weapon are a mess (what's up with her booba?)
On the other hand, Blade's design is S tier, so I really hope he is just unhinged and not a full-on bad guy. His gameplay is also pretty interesting to me.

With how many ice weakness interactions Yanqing has, I think that Silverwolf will be pretty dang good with like, Gepard/Pela/Silverwolf/Yanqing or something like that. Like, sure you may not guarantee getting the ice weakness on the enemy, but... In MoC you can just grind runs for good RNG? I dunno, will be interesting to see how that goes.

e4 Pela lowers ice res (+def shred. also with resolution, even more def shred), Silverwolf fulfills even more elemental shred( and def shred), allows application of ice weakness as well, e1 Gepard allows for higher chance of freeze on his E, Yanqing e1 increases atk against frozen enemies. If all of these conditions are fulfilled, plus relic bonuses and other buffs from weapons, Yanqing can deal insane ST dmg and becomes nuke-worthy! (also his passive has a good chance of freeze too, so freeze procks are more consistent. this team looks nuts ngl)
man I'm confused as hell. On one hand I'd like to have a 2nd healer as an insurance, but on the other hand I already have a pretty good gepard and if I put him in a team, it doesn't really need a 2nd healer except those rare occasions where gepard gets cc'd. I also got a seele but no bronya so silverwolf would be equally valuable for my quantum team. Life is tough man
Chose who you prefer as a character honestly. I personally have Gepard too and usually my Gepardless team struggles more than my Healerless team so in theory I don't really need Luocha all that much, but I started this game for him ('cause I like Otto), so I'm gonna pull anyway.
Silverwolf would be nice for my Seele or Mono Ice team with Yanqing and Pela, but for the yime being I don't feel the need to get her over the character I like. I'm also taking my time with Memory of Chaos, so I'm not in a hurry to get all the broken supports

I could be wrong, but descriptions specifically states "ally's type." So, the 75% base chance of application is the addition to whatever effect hit rate you throw onto SW. Mihoyo likes to be specific sometimes with skill wording, but we can also factor in translation issues. I'm sure once Luocha releases, we can see a viable "mono team." Of course this is more whale territory than anything, but we're looking at Welt, Luocha, Yukong and SW. That feeds all the roles required.

You don't need Luocha to clear SU. Just use correct blessing.
you don't even need a healer for SU 5, just use abundance path and clear kafka's debuffs using resonance. btw she gains atk buff while your characters are under her hypnosis skill(even not proked) so use resonance immediatly after her skill

I don't understand when people say the highest chance is 75%, litteraly if you use her against an enemy who has naturally a quantum weakness it turns into 100% chance.
You don't HAVE to run mono elemental teams, just bring units who are of elements who the boss is already weak to + the unit who's damage you wanna boost should be of an element the enemy isn't weak to and voilà 100% chance to apply your dps's weakness to the enemy.
Because there is effect resistance which doesnt give you 100% chance on break quantum type even she is this element but her lightcone gives you effect hit rate which increase chance to apply this effect and break the quantum weakness bar faster then others.
That is why nihility is best breaker of defense😂.
Maybe you create own team for quantum type but if the enemy hasnt element quantum you cant break it.
+ untill you break it you have to stack hits from your teammates ❤
After every break enemy obtain effect resistance which count few turns.
Because it will reduce the value of the SW skill. The thing is after she apllied weakness to enemies she reduces their dmg res to that type element for 20% and +10% all element. but if we bring dps to enemies who have the same weakness, only the 10% will still be applied. the 20% does not applied. that is why nobody talking about bring dps to enemies that have same element

@@altri2254 enemy naturally has 20% dmg res to any element that is not their weakness, and SW skill adds weakness which by itself means removing the dmg res. Her skill description is kinda misleading in that sense. You'd still bring her for the extra 10% and she herself can contribute to the break if enemy has same element, it also means less skill point expenditure.
I actually just pulled a bailu today. But nat's debuff removal is so nice.
That and, Nat with wind relic set+ speed boots +energy rope and the forgetten hall cone = burst up all the time.

If it's not the team... I would place Luocha lower in the tier list. Building him slow pretty much slow down his flower stacking which sucks.

Getting silverwolf imo is more important just for the fact that even if her skill is nerfed at e0 her ult is more potent than luocha passive heal on average since even halls will likely rotate every patch in a major way. Way to many people are discounting duel elm dps plus silverwolf since we only have one true tank in fire mc fire imperal might be useful in situations where you have hook and any other top tier dps about the only team that doesn't want silverwolf is mono ice which is top heavy atm.
Silver wolf's Sig LC applies Aether code on an enemy which is a mechanic from Aether gazer (every single character has there own set of aether codes) 😂

For a team comp for silver wolf you could use 2 elements for the team comp, then make 1 character from each element a dps/sub dps. That way you always have a way to hit the enemy.
Welp yeah this might be work for general clearing, but memory of chaos is just need more balance to the team.. it's hurt

Why selee is almost perfect for SW
- SW and Selee are both quantum, increase chance to apply quantum
- SW requires a reliable mob killer because of single target debuff, but also need someone deal large amount damage on boss which selee did it all
- quantum relic set buff, yeah. gain extra ignore def to selee from relic set if SW apply quantum weakness
You can build other mono team but in farming, asta in her banner exist and her eidolons are pog (or other harmony character)
you can build lightning Jing yuan and fire hook mono team, but SW mainly is deal with boss because of her kit so use wisely

imo there will definitely be more 4* healer coming in the future, pulling for luocha just for 2nd heal right now is probably not worth considering the extra jade you could get from that over just using gepard/march instead
Why a must-pull? You don't need a second healer unless it's for Memory of Chaos, but even then, the extra jades you will get will not be worth the amount of jades you'll probably spend to get him. I don't think he is a must-pull. Just get him if you like him.
U guys are right in a sense but that moc give u lots of resource (onetime) and over time as well. From the look up to 1.3 there is no another 4star healer yet, if u want to wait thats fine as well.

@@nirviigaming "lots" is a bit of a stretch. It's not even worth thousands of jades. You can 3 star clear all stages Forgotten Hall without a second healer. I was able to do it before TL50, which means all my characters could not be higher than lvl 60, and my only healer is Natasha.
As for events, they will always give you trial characters.

I will note with SW is you can make 4 different teams with her depending what 5*s you have.
Fire: Fireblazer, Asta, Hook/Himeko
Ice: Gepard, Pela, Yanquing
Lightning: Bailu, Tingyun, Jing Yuan
Physical: Natasha, Clara, Sushang (arguably the hardest to run)
A lot of 5 stars u need right there. Sure isn't f2p friendly at all.
Not to mention, Pela and SilverWolf do the same thing on their ult. They don't stack.

Luocha is 100% a must-pull unless you have Bailu, in which case it's still recomended to get Luocha because his kit is broken and imaginary is broken.
People saying that he's not a must pull are coping really, really hard.
I feel many people are also underestimating how broken a debuff ability is. There will be new enemies down the line eventually, with surely some challenging self-buffs. Even current ones can buff up to be a considerable pain (boss Gepard, etc). Sometimes a debuff skill is the only realistic counter to being 1HKO’d
yeah i have bailu and am still contemplating a luocha roll. he literally has every single tool and utility in his kit to be an effective and very long term scaling healer that can comfortably fit into many comps. they literally overloaded his toolkit with the most skills for a healer lol - it makes hard to ignore.

@@BizzleMade not sure about that tbh. He's an autotrigger emergency heal, enemy debuff (the only one in the game currently), party-wide buff with the field, and dedicated healing (duh). He outperforms any other sustain unit AND offers utility and damage on top of it, also saving skill points because instaheal is zero cost. "No one is a must pull" might be true in Genshin, but for the current HSR landscape Luocha is just super cracked. It's okay if you don't vibe with the character's looks or personality, that's personal preference. But saying he's "not essential" is pure denial. At the very least, until another equally cracked unit releases, which will take any time from several months to never.

Fuxuan would be the quantum tank, so many players (at least from CN community) are kind of investing on a quantum monocolor team and the said team will probably be the first mature meta team

Based on some testing that was done with the curio in SU that has basically the same effect as SW skill, it doesnt seem to matter how many characters of an element you have in the team. So, 3 fire characters and 1 ice character meant 2 elements so 50/50. That would suck. Thatd mean that if youre not completely mono it, at best, has a 50/50 chance. And reapplying before expiry always procced the other weakness. Ofcourse no guarantee it would be the same but SW seems like a very niche pick. Def wait with pulling until the wales done testing.

I have been watching multiple sliver wolf videos from the cbt and each time it still applies weaknesses already on the enemy making it heavily reliant on rng
If we have more quantum characters in the future, then no, because you will be guaranteed a quantum weakness. But for now, it does rely on rng.
The leaks from 1.1 beta shows that it has been changed. Now it only applies the weakness if the enemy doesn't have it, but that also means no extra DMG res reduction to the enemies that already have weakness and it is now for 2 turns instead of previous 3.

The wording seems misleading and I would have thought even if there are 3 fire elements on our team it's still 50/50 to add either fire/quantum because technically there are only 2 elements on our team
if im not mistaken the wording they used on stream was depending on allies' element. So 3 units sharing the same element has higher chance to proc vs SW 1 unit as an element. Unless of course, they used the word wrongly.

There's a difference between "pre-reg reward" (a.k.a. "a reward which only pre-registered players get") and "reward for meeting the pre-reg milestone" (a.k.a. "every player gets this if the game reaches X amount of pre-regged users"). Serval was the second type, since HSR succeeded in reaching their milestone everyone will always get her through the mail.

What I can tell is that Silverwolf is good for f2p because you don’t have to worry about getting a dips for every type. You can still use your main carry to deal with the bosses. But the effect res on bosses can be a problem if you don’t have enough effect hit rate. Having more characters to use with her is a good and a bad thing. It is good because you will have more options to choose from when forming your team. But if you have the right team for the boss then what’s the point of Silverwolf other then to just apply debuffs and defence shreds. I think Silverwolf is for f2p players who won’t be able to afford all the other dps characters and still want to take on bosses with the right type. Sure you can skip her banner but you will eventually need a character to help with almost everything. You don’t wanna fall behind in the forgotten hall because then you loss the chance to get stellar jade. But another thought I have is why have a debuffer that can miss when you can have a buffer that can’t. Sure weakness break is a big deal at the higher levels but you can pull through without doing any weakness break.
In conclusion I think that Silverwolf is a good f2p pull for the people who wanna keep using their team without needing to over invest in or have to pull for another dps of the element they need. But who knows, maybe in a year when we have more characters leveled and more characters of the right type we won’t need Silverwolf anymore. But if you just want to pull for her because you like her that is great. Pulling for someone just to complete a challenge or finish end game content is not a good idea. That investment will take a couple months to pay back. I myself just wanna run a mono electro team with Silverwolf,Kafka,serval, and bailu if I get her.

You don't need mono team. You can use 2 or maybe 3 character boss have elemently weak to it. Which you will have if your team buildings right.
I saw lot of people say her skill is rng but if your team has same elements with your enemy except your dps it's not rng anymore
Yep but quantum doesn't have a full team and if ur f2p going for full quantum team, ur not going to unless ur insanely lucky. Img doesnt have a cheaper team alternative either since u need Welt and Luocha + Yukong. That team is going to be skill point heavy for Welt and Yukong. Only real f2p teams for SW are ice, physical and maybe fire if you got lucky and got hook or himeko. Asta, Himeko/Hook and Fire MC + SW but Fire MCs arent the strongest so you may or may not need a healer.
@@ParafrostV You don't need a full Quantum team. You just build your team around the enemy's weaknesses. Bring supports of the elements the enemy is already weak too and you get a 100% chance to apply the weakness you want. Works especially well if your dps is Seele, because they're both Quantum.
2 situations: 1. enemy doesnt have quantum weakness, and you have quantum main dps so you bring SW and your quantum main dps, with 2 supports that match the elements of the boss, so you will apply quantum weakness and enable your main dps to do more dmg 2. Enemy has quantum weakness and you have main dps with element that boss doesnt weak to, so you do the same thing
Even if you're not using her main gimmick she is the best single target debuffer for increasing dmg
@@user-vs6mr6uh5u 50/50 to apply Quantum weakness. It's all based on your team comp. To eliminate the 50/50, you need a full team of quantum characters else ur just wasting skill points with a 50/50. Perfect scenarios don't always exist you know. Sure you may get lucky and she only applies quantum to the enemy, but that's going to happen 50% of the time realistically, the other 50% is your team dying. If shes not using her gimmick, Pela has more uses as she can remove buffs and do the same def shred with her ult like SW but for aoe. Makes killing smaller enemies easier for Seele.

Like I said, it will be a 50/50 whether or not she applies the same weakness as your main dmg dealer and if she applies it for characters that already have an advantage on the enemy, it's null and void and she just does an instance of dmg while your main dps doesn't get that boost in their dmg output.

even tho luocha pairs super well with blade i'm probs skipping him since the game gave me e1 bailu and her lightcone... im already tight on pulls savings as f2p so im gonna be broke even if i save all i have by the time blade drops
