Cycling in the cutest village in the Netherlands

- In the northeasternmost tip of Rotterdam, on the Zevenhuizerplas, lies the spacious new residential area Nesselande.
Modern Villas and personal boats give you the feeling that you are in a fashionable seaside resort in Southern Europe.
Only a few minutes away from here, there is a beautiful beach which is less crowded than other beaches and has a crystal clear water to swim in and enjoy the summer.

For a newbuild area it looks pretty nice. Im glad most buildings have an esthetic that takes inspiration from old Dutch architecture. You see that in more parts of the country where new houses are being built;. Lots of red / dark brick and matching roofing. Very nice. A great trend. There are obviously many more villages that can be categorized as 'the cutest', especially our late medieval villages. But as far as newbuild goes, this one nailed it pretty well. Glad to see you're having fun.
I honestly love the old looking cities and villages in the Netherlands, but this place kinda gave me a feeling like I was in L.A 🤣 that's why I liked it so much. And I'm pretty sure that it's not the only one out there.

@@Walkwithmee You're welcome. Yeah we have many LA type neighborhoods in the polder. Check out Wassenaar, Nieuwkoop and / or Vogelenzang and the Bloemendaal area's for those type of villages. Have fun with your channel :)

You can find it right next to strand Nesselande. According to google, it's called " stal van der spek". Please let me know if you have any more questions. 🙏
