See, this is stupid. We are in the Multiverse. There are so many ways to do a variant of T'Challa
That comment is a joke? You realize that the worst possible use of the multiverse is to keep making copies of the same character.
The end result of that is that you destroy stakes in storytelling.
Meaning nothing that happens in any story can matter or stick if you just keep replacing the character over and over.
Why don't we just bring back Thanos and Hela and Loki and Ego and Dormammu and MODOK and Justin Hammer and have them kill the rest of the MCU. lol.

Those characters still exist whether you want to whine about them existing.
They are alive in other universes.....as ENTIRELY DIFFERENT PEOPLE.
Its not 199999 T'Challa. It's not 199999 Thanos. Those events still occurred.
So, the toddler-esque mindset that causes one to view them like toys that are "replaced" when a variant exists, is a personal problem....and is a cognitive ability one.
It does absolutely nothing to stakes, because those characters still died. They still went through everything they went through. The impact and consequences of their actions still exist.
Nothing is taken away from them, by having other characters from other universes exist as part of the storyline. They're not "copies".
Didn't they recast War Machine? Why retire the character of Tachalla?

They do it all the time in the comics. Certain characters age up for one reason or another while the main stay the same.

Jonathan Kent isn't Clark Kent Superman. Two different characters. Chadwick was great as Tchalla however that doesn't mean another actor won't do justice to the role same as Chadwick did.
Every batman actors have the same in common they all played different versions of the same comic book character Bruce wayne batman. Not Bruce wayne Jr. This gate- keeping becoming redundant.
They can still recast TChalla only he won't be from the prime universe.
We saw Photon enter another universe in _The Marvels_ where the X-Men clearly exist. Let a TChalla variant (whose probably married to Storm) come from there and have that TChalla crossover in _Avengers: Doomsday_ once Battle World is established.

The heroes have their Secret War .... They come back and the world is different .... Black Panther and the Wakandans have been the only Heroes watching earth for a number of years.

Of course. I sometimes think this site is kids and arrested adults who can't deal with trauma in their real lives. The solution is so obvious. You have a future T'Challa Jr come from a future timeline to save the present day and then after Avengers he goes back to his timeline and when we get into the Mutant saga the current timline's T'Chala Jr will be old enough to take the mantle.

Eyes of Wakanda is rumored to feature time travel, why? If they want to explore the history of Wakanda why not just an anthology show, why have characters travel in time? Because by introducing Wakanda time travel technology they can justify aging T'Challa son of T'Challa.
I can imagine the conversation between Shuri and some unknown character ... U: "we need him now as the black panther" / S: "he is too young, yet I cannot continue, I need to step up my research and engineering for what's coming" / U: "we have proven your time travel tech, we will raise and train him in the past and when we bring him back to the same day we left, we'll all be 20 years older" / S: "Wakanda forever" / U: "Wakanda forever"

How about they do both the recast and still have little Toussaint as T'Challa. How about they play around some hidden traditions that he has to be of a certain age to inherit the throne. I mean... he is the rightful heir after all but not at that age. That's when the recast comes in. Kinda like a "King Regent" stands in for him till after secret wars. He then joins the younger actors in the new and upcoming phase. A typical example is like Game of Thrones... 😊

Well they have to recast T’Challa because there are so many talented actors who could become an excellent and successful T’Challa’s Black Panther, I already know that I said that Michael Jai White would become an excellent Black Panther.

If there casting tchalla Jr an older version then that wouldn't be much of a problem for one he has tchalla as his name meaning he will still exist in the MCU also since the X-Men are coming this tchalla can fall in love with storm and would make sense . The only problem I see here is how would marvel age him up so fast ? I mean they can use Bruce banner time machine to do it, but that would be robbing him of his childhood and shuri just became her own black panther her own way. Let's just see what Marvel Comes up with.
