It is worth mentioning that it is used for "kalampear", which is one of the typical ways of playing/singing (in "huayños"), where the melody is included in the very structure of the strumming/chords, resulting in a very characteristic rhythm, marked by rapid changes in harmony, and often with an irregular accent (it is usually 2/4 music, but with extra figures in some bars and accent that moves, which gives that syncopated feeling ("temple diablo" is a simplified tuning, useful for "kalampear". The classic tuning is called "temple natural". And there are many other local "temples" (another famous one is the "kinza temple")
