I think rylais is a good choice. Gives you a lot of AP and some life and the passive helps you hit more rockets after the first one.

Maximo Pellegrino UPDATE: I did not expect so many of you to actually read my comment so I will also explain more things of Corki, and also update innacurate information. Lastly, I have to say sorry in advance if I commit a grammatical mistake or a misspeling, I am writing this on the run basically. As a Corki Main since late s9, I can state that this build actually works, but crit build is still better overall. TL;DR The main advantage of hybrid build is its stronger poke damage, package damage, versatility and build flexibility, but it looses against crit in DPS and survivability. Do not consider me a fan of crit build however, as this build also has its flaws. I will explain how both build scale, but first let me explain why both builds work (and how corki works). So, Corki in a nutshell is designed to be an APC that scales with ad. His aa and E scale only with ad, his W only scales with ap, and his Q, R and package scale with both. However, 87% of his damage will be ap (even his aa deal ap thanks to his passive). At first glance, people would assume that corki should be played with the highest ad possible. However, neither build actually stacks full AD, instead both exploit other aspects of the champion. Why crit build works? The reason actually has to do with the game balance itself and Corki's passive. The curious thing about Corki is that 80% damage of his autos will be ap. Its not that they scale with ap, but rather that the ad damage of the autos is transformed into ap. On paper, it would seem to be a disadvantage since lethality would not work, but in the game it's actually a very strong passive. Why? Because all enemies have less mr than armor (at level 18, the average armor is around 90 while the average mr is about 40/50). If you put this into percentages, there is a 33 to 40% damage difference between AD and AP. Now, if we use this numbers with corki's passive, we will note a wooping 27/32% extra damage against base MR enemies. So crit build bases in this damage advantage while also scaling AD for abilities. Why hybrid build works? Hybrid build, on the other hand, focuses on increasing your abilities damage, building both AD, magic pen and items that increase magic damage from external percentages rather than increasing raw ap, because corki does not scale well with raw ap. In comparison to a crit build, a hybrid build can deal up to a 50% aditional damage with abilities, however it will lose a 60% of damage coming from AAs. For a guide to both builds, I will also talk about the runes. The best rune you can use for both build is first strike. As mentioned in a comment below, Its the only main rune in the game that actually gives you gold (makes you reach your core faster, and in the current corki state in which he depends on scaling, it is a big advantage) and scales your damage by a percentage when initiating combat, which your package and range helps you do easily. This results in more damage with your package and poke, and also in a faster scaling (and with Corki, who depends on item scaling in the current meta, this gives you an advantage). The usual setup, then, would be: Inspiration: First Strike Boots: free gold and extra speed Cookies: covers for early resource issues plus mana for extra manamune damage Cosmic insight: Less cd for summoners and items (Shieldbow, Luden's, Horizon Focus, GA, Zhonyas, etc) For the other tree, I usually go for resolve. It makes up for Corki's squishiness. So the setup would be: Resolve: conditioning (Very good against burst). Overgrowth (Since you will be scaling in lane farming, this rune will benefit you with health) Alternatives to resolve can be precision (mostly sustain with triumph, presence of mind, legend bloodline, attack speed with alacrity or extra damage with coup de grace), domination (sustain with taste of blood and ravenous hunter, magic pen with sudden impact, or better roaming with relentless hunter) and sorcery (anti ap with nullifying orb, mana with manaflow band and scaling ad lategame with gathering storm) but I found resolve to be the best and safest option for secondary setup. In stats, you should go for attack speed (I think that its also a good stat in hybrid but I did not test with double damage stat), damage and armor/mr depending on enemy laner (if you don't know who the enemy laner will be, go for MR, since you have a very low base MR). Now I will explain how both build scale and how should you build them: 1. Starter: Both should start with either long sword (offensive start, go for three health pots instead of the reffilable ones), dshield (against heavy poke) or cull (farm lane) depending on matchup and current meta state. An important tip: DONT START WITH TEAR, it makes you lose early game poke damage and the extra mana and early stack do not compensate enough for it. 2. First item: Crit build should start always with shieldbow (your first component can be noonquiver or vampire scepter if you need sustain). Hybrid build should always start with Manamune so you can start stacking it early. Yes, you can start with other items, but they will give you kind of a worse result. At this point crit is slightly better than hybrid, but the difference is not that important. 3. Boots: Sorcerer's are by far the best offensive option (don't go berserk). You can go for defensive boots against heavy ad or ap enemy comps. I do not recommend other options. 4. Second item: Crit usually goes for manamune and hybrid goes for hydra. I tested a lot in this build state and I concluded that hybrid wins (by a slight advantage). Hydra is a very strong early item for Corki (extra aoe damage, more raw AD and better healing) and it beats the shieldbow/manamune startup. You should'nt go for alternatives, though you can rush an anti-heal component if you need. 5. Third item: At this point is when both builds go their own separated paths, since in this moment is when the Hybrid build actually becomes Hybrid by buying Luden's and crit becomes a DPS-oriented build by buying essence reaver. The advantages are actually different: you will get stronger poke and package damage by going hybrid, but you lose DPS. At this point, the survivability advantage of Shielbow starts to get notorious as you get a resistance against burst damage coming from enemies (Corki's main weakness). To note: this shines especially against assasins like Zed, Katarina, Akali and Fizz: if they get to you, you still can survive and even outplay and outdamage thanks to W + shield. Also, at this point you should not even worry about mana issues, since both build give you plenty of mana/mana sustain. 6. Fourth item: This is the moment when you can start buying situational items with hybrid, but Crit still needs another core item: IE. Final item options for hybrid: Horizon Focus (standard fourth item, synergizes well with package and poke), Shadowflame (standard fifth item vs squishies because of magic pen, also anti shield), Zhonya's/GA/Death's Dance (Zhonyas against short astronomical AD or AP undodgeable burst, GA if you are fed and/or carrying and Death's Dance otherwise), Void Staff (go for this one if the enemy is stacking MR), Maw (against MR burst), warrior QSS (against undodgeable stun, go for this one instead of ADC QSS) and Morellonomicon (anti heal). Hybrid has the flexibility advantage in the build, but this is the moment when Crit starts shining and dealing enormous damage to enemies. 7. Fifth item: In crit build you can start finally going flexible with one last item. Final item options: RFC (standart fifth item, gives you DPS and safe poke), bloodthirster (for 1v1 and extra suvivability), GA (against AD burst and especially if you are fed, otherwise go for Death's dance) and QSS (only MR option, Maw can't be built since you already have Shieldbow). IMPORTANT: the anti heal AD crit item is not very effective on corki since you can only apply grievous wounds with aa's and E, however its the only choice. If you have communication with your team and they are already building anti heal, you shouldn't buy it and should instead go for RFC or bloodthirster, but if your team doesn't have enough you should go for it anyways. At this moment hybrid build loses heavily in DPS, however the poke and package advantage mantains. Go for one of the items in the final hybrid item options listed above. 8. Elixir: Go always for elixir of Wrath. Gives you sustain and AD. You can go for iron too, but its pretty situational. Do not go for sorcery. Lastly, I also did a damage testing. The builds I used were: Crit: Shieldbow, Sorcerer's shoes, Muramana, Essence Reaver, Infinity Edge, Rapid Fire Cannon and Elixir of Wrath Hybrid: Muramana, Sorcerer's shoes, Ravenous Hydra, Luden's, Horizon Focus, Shadowflame and Elixir of Wrath Raw numbers after damage testing against an enemy with 50mr and 2000 health: Maximum package damage (crit): 4462 Maximum package damage (hybrid): 6052 Maximum burst damage (Q + third R)(crit): 1320 Maximum burst damage (Q + third R)(hybrid):1950 DPS(without package)(crit): 1700 in first two seconds, that then decays to 1500 for two seconds, then 1400 and stabilizes at 1300 after 10 seconds of combat. DPS(without package)(hybrid): 1500 in first two seconds, then decays to 1300, then to 1100 and stabilizes at 850 after 10 seconds of combat. With the package, both builds have the same DPS at the first 4 seconds, but hybrid decays faster. So that's it, sorry for the wall of text but sharing this information is important in this moment of confusion. Lastly, I would suggest you to try different build itemizations and reach your own conclusions, that will be the best not only for your best, but also for global stats. Thanks for reading!
This build is literally mathematically correct corki by Ross boomsocks… the only difference was the use of horizon focus as a key component which honestly is a good replacement for DD in games you don’t need it
its not , rossboomsocks doesnt build hydra which is literally the core item of that build , he doesn't get void either and the order in which he builds the item beside muramana is completely wrong + he didnt have access to the new rune first strike which is the sole reason why that build spikes so fast. these are completely different build in terms of gameplay and powerspike
@@willdallly8271 hydra was a 4th item option, void was a final item option, first strike getting added just means the build evolved, there were game scenarios where the build calls for manamune rush and not the hybrid start. Legit everything you just said was wrong. Not to mention this build was getting used with the old runes by some pro players as well (DoinB going phase rush). I don’t wanna hear it Edit: misspelled an item name
I've been trying this build for a few games and the dmg it's insane. I haven't been able to get to 4 items though. They usually ff when I have 3 items because the dmg is already insane
I've been playing this exact build since items reforged. Last game I got flamed to pieces by my team for buying Ravenous Hydra. Have you seen Corki's E with Hydra? It's just silly.
Midbeast, I mean, give me your Midmeat, I MEAN the literal incarnation of manhood who literally beat Dopa and doesn't even bother bragging about such a glorious achievement, has now pushed his influence into even the highest levels of play (below his godlike, never-missing- cannons-esque level of play, obviously), where people are starting to adapt his immaculate and innovative path of building items on Summoners Rift. Thy's is truly built different.
im keep having wet dreams about Midbeast suddenly appearing behind me while taking a dump and softly whispering "absolutely beautiful" in my right ear.... any one can relate?
I was playing a very similar build last season, and can confirm even then it was strong. I'm one of those hardstuck Gold I / Plat IV dogs that loves to theorycraft builds, and then when I play them in soloqueue I get shit on by assassin one tricks. Maybe if I didn't suck so much you guys would have known about it sooner. Sorry.
Hahah same but decided to focus and climbed to dia 1, I tried before becoming mainstream, vlad with klepto, and galio everfrost, i feel like a visionary
I used to play AP corki way back in the day like season 4. It was strong and people slept on its capability. Now I'm a xerath/ahri main so maybe now it's time to unbox those old corki skills.
Rockets have 15/45/75 ad scaling.(big ones double this scaling) Manamune ravenous is a massive chunk of AD. Ludens void sorcs all allow that damage to penetrate better. Deaths dance is just more ad. So each big one is 150% scaling which is doing essentially true damage.
What causes the timestamps on the buffs on his minimap? And what is that grey board with enemy champions in the right corner whenever he's using scoreboard? Looks like his using Ironman suit :D

What do you think of Sudden Impact instead of Taste of Blood? Every time you W (with or without package) you get 7 Lethality and 6 Magic Pen. Seems better than the slight heal you can get every 20 seconds. Especially since you are getting Omnivamp in your 2nd item, you are getting even bigger heals on no cooldown anyways.
Taste of blood is for lane. The build is already atrocious in lane so if you want to give up the help for more late game, feel free, but I think it's safe to say corki has late game on lock
This is actually really funny because right before the pre season I was playing Max Pen corki where I went Sunderer, Manamune, Void Staff, Serylda's, Black Cleaver, Magic Pen boots. And it was the same idea of one shot rockets
29:25 "we have a 30 minute banger in our hands" bruh, when did 30 minute became a long game, i remembered when I used to play season 2-9 30 minute felt like the normal game length.
idk if this is even better than a normal corki build. Crit is so valuable because you literally oneshot or two shot people with your autos once you are lategame, and your rockets still do similar levels of damage.
I guess the prob corgi mains have is the crit scales just a lot better late game. But anyways, what do you think about this build on Ezreal? I’m curious
So, I play a lot of Corki and I'm going to be honest, when I heard about this build yesterday and thought it was bad. Played it one game and I definitely think the burst damage and poke damage is fking nuts but I personally dps build for Corki. As for nerfing Corki because of this build, I do think the build is strong but I think it's awkward to nerf him because of it as it's the items that make the build strong, not Corki as a champion.
corki is 100% going to get nerfed for that , the items are just perfect for him and no other champs can abuse that build , so the only way riot can nerf it is by nerfing corki ultimate which is just a matter of time until riot realise whats happening (most played corki build is still the shieldbow one) once people pick up on that new build nerf hammer is coming
@@willdallly8271 in that case I hope they maybe just nerf the AP scalings or adjust the 80/20 magic/physical split damage on his autos to do less magic, that way his AD builds wouldn't be hurt so badly.
@@Ryan-nm8pw they cant make his ult be more ad ratio than ap ratio cause that would be even more broken (lethality build would be born) but they can for sure reduce the ap scaling and give some ad scaling but not enough to justify going full ad
the thing is even on the normal crit build the rockets would demolish people, this build is better at that purely from dmg stand point but weaker in other areas.
well, raw damage is lower sure, but you have a lot more cdr, so rockets are more spammable. Yuo guys aren't doing a fair comparison taking only raw damage as a parameter. This build is meant to poke from distance the whole enemy team without needing to go in, and it gives you enough rockets to miss a lot them and still do work.
I'm plat 1 with about 150 games this season (dog I know, whatever lol) it also took me a single game to realize the potential of this build. I dont even play cork but I felt like I was driving a race car for the first time, had so much power and no idea how to use it. Still carried hardcore. This is a crazy build
Big problem with corki is that he doesn't do enough dmg like almost every adc in the early game. Which means if other team plays the bot lane well, and get an early freeze on corki, it's pretty much over for him. Not to mention that corki doesn't really pike on dmg in this build until 3rd items. So I think I'd rather have a corki can farm and level up normally in a solo lane.
@@killuazoldyck6452 the best you can get out of Nami's e with corki is probably one auto, before the bot lane just back off. Corki is really vulnerable with using his w offensively , unlike lucian if lucian hits his passive onto champion, he gets his dash back up quicker. So really playing corki and Nami lane will be passive af, and not to mention that other botlaner can just take Mr runes early to negate both corki and Nami dmg
This has been a staple high Elo ARAM Corki build since mythics was released. I've always found it super interesting when builds from a supposed casual gamemode later make it into high ranked, I guess despite high Elo ARAM being super sweaty people are still more open to new ideas than in ranked.
can someone explain me why this is better than straight AD? all the ratios are better ad wise so why is it good... i can see void staff for the penetration but everything else...

The builds I used were:
Crit: Shieldbow, Sorcerer's shoes, Muramana, Essence Reaver, Infinity Edge, Rapid Fire Cannon and Elixir of Wrath
Hybrid: Muramana, Sorcerer's shoes, Ravenous Hydra, Luden's, Horizon Focus, Shadowflame and Elixir of Wrath
Raw numbers after damage testing against an enemy with 50mr and 2000 health:
Maximum package damage (crit): 4462
Maximum package damage (hybrid): 6052
Maximum burst damage (Q + third R)(crit): 1320
Maximum burst damage (Q + third R)(hybrid):1950
DPS(without package)(crit): 1700 in first two seconds, that then decays to 1500 for two seconds, then 1400 and stabilizes at 1300 after 10 seconds of combat.
Thanks for reading!
what elixir do you buy with this build?
This build is literally mathematically correct corki by Ross boomsocks… the only difference was the use of horizon focus as a key component which honestly is a good replacement for DD in games you don’t need it
idk why but every time one of Ross' builds gets popular people just pretend it wasn't on his channel way before
@@imnothighipromise1563 he didnt create it it was one of his viewers
True, the reveal from horizon focus would also be really nice for chaining rockets.
its not , rossboomsocks doesnt build hydra which is literally the core item of that build , he doesn't get void either and the order in which he builds the item beside muramana is completely wrong + he didnt have access to the new rune first strike which is the sole reason why that build spikes so fast. these are completely different build in terms of gameplay and powerspike
I don’t wanna hear it
Edit: misspelled an item name
Lol I love Midbeast’s commentary. I know he’s cool people irl.
I've been trying this build for a few games and the dmg it's insane. I haven't been able to get to 4 items though. They usually ff when I have 3 items because the dmg is already insane
Thanks midbeast now all my diamond peaking teammates are first timing corki in my games. :)!
Just a reminder, since midbeast is too modest to say it himself, he beat dopa in soloq
I've been playing this exact build since items reforged. Last game I got flamed to pieces by my team for buying Ravenous Hydra. Have you seen Corki's E with Hydra? It's just silly.
his e doesn't do the hydra effect
@@tomatofarmerlarry3331 it does its literally in the video
Question is why do you have chat on
@@tomatofarmerlarry3331 It literally does, as well as the Rockets.
It procs the first salvo, but not the consecutive bullets
@@tomatofarmerlarry3331 Oh yes it does, try it out in practice mode!
Thy's is truly built different.
i saw your video on your other channel about this build. i have so much fun right now with corki.
Love your vids leechbeast xP
What are you using for program to see the jungle timers & camps HP bar? Nice video & thx for the tips.
26:20 "it was at this moment that jackson knew... he fked up"
This just prove we need more experiment in league
except AP corki has been meta before lol
hybrid KOGGHHKI
Bro I watch all of midbeast videos and never gets tired
Midbeast: you gotta keep yourself on the big rockets
Beifeng: Corki go brrr...
Corkis chinese voice is hilarious lol
im keep having wet dreams about Midbeast suddenly appearing behind me while taking a dump and softly whispering "absolutely beautiful" in my right ear....
any one can relate?
Always sit on a big red rocket, thank you midbeast for the life advice!
What are the pros/cons of this build?
The way he says Beifang. God... thats just true love.
@@davidbmbm12 wtf what a chad
I used to play AP corki way back in the day like season 4. It was strong and people slept on its capability. Now I'm a xerath/ahri main so maybe now it's time to unbox those old corki skills.
old thats more like ancient
I've played like 5 games or so of this now and I just don't understand where all the damage is coming from.
@Duk3 I see, thanks for the insight.
ive been playing this build on aram for ages. only change is now first strike exists
love the scaling but its a hard early game
Thats the ARAM corki build. I've been playing that in ARAM for 6 month now. Surprisingly, a lot of ARAM builds work pretty well in summoners rift
What causes the timestamps on the buffs on his minimap? And what is that grey board with enemy champions in the right corner whenever he's using scoreboard?
Looks like his using Ironman suit :D
well u got me with that christmass bit
Get ready for the Hybrid Corki salesman era of Midbeast's content boys
Midicus Beastius II enthusiasts have all the information already. Very sophisticated good sir.
Love the lil midbeast highlight at the beginning. Btw hope u reach 400k soon so that your nephew will stop laughing at u
Pen and Hydra procs
I literally have went this build every ARAM with Corki for a year and people always thought I was trolling. Jesus fuck lmao
26:18 when challengers are sometimes braindead too
I used this build and sometimes full ap on ARAM for awhile, but use DH.
I didn't want a visit from midbeast so I purposefully went 10 cs per minute with this build. Now I can sleep soundly at night again.
Mid beast is so good he can talk over this gameplay and not even have have to use his hands on his keyboard and on his mice at all times
Cause he's not playing, he's commentating? 💀
Quas has literally been doing this build before the "Chinese Super Server" players did.
who? xd
@@BAEHELPFUNY I bet it's a 100 viewer Corki OTP streamer
He’s an old lcs player, Quas is legit. Used to one trick old Swain and play a lot of Jax
@@BAEHELPFUNY Quas was a pro player who really inovated top lane, he was also the person who made triple D ring Nasus known having 5 accounts in top 15 challenger at the same time 1,2,5,10,15 all of them being d ring nasus otp accounts.
Jesus these "league zoomers" don't know what is Quasus, good old days
What do you think of Sudden Impact instead of Taste of Blood? Every time you W (with or without package) you get 7 Lethality and 6 Magic Pen. Seems better than the slight heal you can get every 20 seconds. Especially since you are getting Omnivamp in your 2nd item, you are getting even bigger heals on no cooldown anyways.
Taste of blood is for lane. The build is already atrocious in lane so if you want to give up the help for more late game, feel free, but I think it's safe to say corki has late game on lock
This is actually really funny because right before the pre season I was playing Max Pen corki where I went
Sunderer, Manamune, Void Staff, Serylda's, Black Cleaver, Magic Pen boots. And it was the same idea of one shot rockets
3 of those items dont give anything to corki? buying serylda's for the slow and black cleaver for the movement speed seem like such a waste lol
@@spacelizard5280 at the time it wasn’t meant to be a good build, it was as the name said “Max Pen”
This thumbnail is a masterpiece.
Drew do you think this is viable build path bot lane? Corki is D tier as ADC, though perhaps the build path makes it viable
29:25 "we have a 30 minute banger in our hands"
bruh, when did 30 minute became a long game, i remembered when I used to play season 2-9 30 minute felt like the normal game length.
People please sub to midbeast! These uploads with so much consistency and this much love for league is rare to find. Appreciate it while it lasts!
idk if this is even better than a normal corki build. Crit is so valuable because you literally oneshot or two shot people with your autos once you are lategame, and your rockets still do similar levels of damage.
Hi- as a new player, is there a place to see your item/rune setup off of youtube? Great stuff BTW.
Not my immature ass laughing at “Big red rocket” every time midbeast says it
I guess the prob corgi mains have is the crit scales just a lot better late game.
But anyways, what do you think about this build on Ezreal? I’m curious
9:20 sure drew, i will sit on the big red rocket and let it recharge.
I've played a few games, if you get 3 items and can hit your rockets it should be GG. Highest damage every game, insane.
10:47 i will pick corki mid and intentionally have shit farm after buying tiamat just so you can visit me you sexy beast.
Dude, tried this one out and it feels amazing. Landing those rockets it's harder than I though tho LOL
Greetings from Brazil
Apparently it’s even more ridiculous with Liandry’s Torment.
Does he spike with rabadons with this build?
Best 30 mins of my life
thank you my enemy mid inted my master promo with this build good job
can u imagine 4 league players flaming each other and u ping your cull and all the sudden they start trying their hardest lmfao
They threw that so hard 😂
the thing is even on the normal crit build the rockets would demolish people, this build is better at that purely from dmg stand point but weaker in other areas.
Let’s trust the random on UA-cam comments and not the best players on the best servers
What other areas?
@@TheXavir99 the autos are piss weak, so you are just a package/rocket bot for the most part
well, raw damage is lower sure, but you have a lot more cdr, so rockets are more spammable. Yuo guys aren't doing a fair comparison taking only raw damage as a parameter. This build is meant to poke from distance the whole enemy team without needing to go in, and it gives you enough rockets to miss a lot them and still do work.
@@tomatofarmerlarry3331 yeah, this is what midbeast told us all in this video
"Fresh this is new guys" *me who has been doing it since the beginning of this year* mhm yeah
I didn't want your nephew to make fun of you anymore at the Christmas parties so I subscribed. @midbeast
felt the power of that corki against an irelia mid, you can even turn the game around just keep your cool with this one.... 1 R is quite OP
Nice literally this build is in 90% of my games thanks drew!

no way he's talking like hes actually playing at 8 minutes i realized it's not even his gameplay 💀
finally Beifeng the Chinese Qiyana, disguised in Corki tho
how was that chem soul unplayable? looked very easy to deal with..
Nice haircut, looks fresh
FINALY. First good hybrid build in this season
good analys keep it coming :)
how is the neutrals hp showing on top of them, is that in the settings?
it’s a chinese server only thing, similar to timers on minimap without a program.
HELL YEAH! i used to love Corki so much it's about time there is a new build. Finally gonna go back to one of my first mains.
Instructions clear, I am now challenger.
I'm plat 1 with about 150 games this season (dog I know, whatever lol) it also took me a single game to realize the potential of this build. I dont even play cork but I felt like I was driving a race car for the first time, had so much power and no idea how to use it. Still carried hardcore. This is a crazy build
Is ocean and cloud drake still in the game?
OMFG vs'd this build yesterday in ranked it DESTROYES our entire team we were melted i was pretty pissed lol
Would this be viable in bot lane? Seems like having a good support to keep you alive in the early game would be helpful
Oof imagine corki+nami AAAA
Corki has really short auto range so every ADC can bully him:(
@@killuazoldyck6452 the best you can get out of Nami's e with corki is probably one auto, before the bot lane just back off.
GET YOUR BIG RED ROCKET READY
Review beifeng akali or sylas please!!
this guy won't stop talking about this build
JUST A REMINDER MIDBEAST BEAT DOPA IN MID LANE WE ALL KNOW HES TOO HUMBLE TO SAY IT HIMSELF SO IMA HAVE TO SAY IT FOR HIM
I don't really get it though. Corky has ap damage but ad ratio right ?
The game quality at this level compared to NA high plat is ridiculous
can someone explain me why this is better than straight AD?
all the ratios are better ad wise so why is it good...
i can see void staff for the penetration but everything else...
