Jesus, lead me to this song 3am this morning 1/26/19. He placed on my heart, the song called, "Power of love"..I've learned to respect the power of love.(such a powerful anointed song. Jesus used this message to convicted hearts. But the question is who do bbn you ch turn to. Teach the people to return back unto the Creator, our zHeavenly Father. Then your message will be complete. God is love and all power belong to Him. It doesn't matter how it's flipped, it still return back to the Most High. Our sisters and brothers have been given a gift to help ushers the people of God, into His presence. However, some use the gift for there own gain and suffer the consequences of Lust, in which can never be satisfied. Then the loss of peace. Remember, Jesus is the Prince of peace. Without Jesus peace. You will loss peace of mind. Your peace of mind. So call yourself Lost/Crazy! Thank you Jesus, for restoring our minds. Whenever are minds are stayed on you(the word made flesh). The flesh is the opposite of the spirit man. I pray that we as a people continue to build up the spirit man, through fasting, praying, reading and meditating on the word of God our Creator. Most importantly Respecting God's Power, the Father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The very one who gave breath and can take it away. Bless the Lord. I love you Jesus! I wish this song wasn't ever released due, to the fact that it is way off center ,and redundant since power of love was a smash hit and, is evidently superior all around not to mention way more original. This was just indolence on Stephs part, perhaps that's why she has unfortunately somewhat faded from the main stream scene.

Not sure if you know it but "I Have Learned To Respect The Power Od Love" was originally a gospel song and she remade it for he secular audience so she in fact brought it back to it's original form and I'm sorry that you feel that she's faded from main stream but to myself and all others who attend her sold out shows we would strongly disagree. Stephanie Mills definitely hasn't faded from the scene. In the past three years, here in the Metro Detroit area, I've seen Stephanie Mills perform four times. I just saw her last Saturday, April 15. She performed at the Detroit Opera House, along with the Manhattans, Pebo Brison & Jeffrey Osborn. It was a phenomenal concert. In the Detroit area, each of her shows/concerts, are always mostly, or completely sold out. After she completes her performance, she get a loud standing ovation. The way Ms. Mills performed last Saturday night, I don't think, she'll be fading from the scene, anytime soon........April 21, 2017.

Just goes to show you cannot please everybody, but Stephanie Mills slayed for the Lord on here and if you ask me I love this version far better than the secular. But to each his/her own. Thank you God for Stephanie and her incredible talent that lifts and inspires.
