When and where I purchased Penhaligon's fragrances was in 2015. On my way to work in Manhattan (New York-USA), stopped by a "P's" store that had recently opened. Iris Prima was my first; Empressa was not quite on the scene until a little later (in the store, I mean), but I loved them both. I bought Iris for myself and Sartorial for my husband. With the purchases I received a packet of other samples. That's my traveling companion💜 when I go on vacation (I am now retired), weekender's and other extended stays. I just purchased my first Penthaligons perfume this weekend ! …The Favourite along with the body lotion, obsessed with it …I think I will be going down a rabbit hole with this brand ..I want to try so many more of them ! ! …
That's a beautiful scent! I like to double up and wear the perfume and body lotion so I can smell it all day. whenever you purchase something making sure to add some free samples of others scents this way you can try more out!

Have collected a few from Penhaligons too and have the same faves Vaara, Artemisia, Empressa (the EDP not EDT!) . Will check out the woody ones on my next visit. Great video! 👍

You don’t think black Opium is a sweet fragrance!? Just got samples for artemisia and empress’s - I wanted to love Artemisia so much but it just smells like powder to me :( I think it’s the violet I dislike … I need to get used to it maybe

Artemsia is my absolute signature. My favourite. Love at first sniff. Kept going back to the store to smell it the sales assistant recognised me

Yes when you get a new perfume you either love it instantly, dislike it instantly or it grows on you
