Charging people 54k for test is too much and you still have to pay another huge amount of money to do the test before heading back to your country of residence..
Please close the Airport and put things in place before opening... People living outside Nigeria don't plug money on the trees. PITY YOUR CITIZENS
I got an experienced through my children about this covid 19 Lagos when my son inlaw want to come back to abroad, he went for test they said he was tested positive and thenmy daughter went to test as well, and she was tested positive also and after 14 days they went for test again with all hold meaning their house maid they all tested positive again . Is only my granddaughter which is just 1year and 9 months that was tested negative. Which they knew that is difficult for kids to have it and after I send them to EDO STATE wish they all tested negative . Lagos is a terrible state for corruption. .

A friend of mine that was traveling to Morocco was tested in Lagos, and they told her she was positive. She was told to pay 200k for quarantine charges😂

I paid and had my text for COVID-19 but the unfortunate thing is that nobody asked me of COVID-19 Test result at the Airport. Why was I subjected to have the test done before travelling?

I'm hearing about the portal but some flights aren't allowed in country Air France coming from USA my question is will it be approved soon to travel with them or is other arrangements in place..

You’re worried about testing kits being wasted on arrivals just have the arrivals quarantine for 7 days and if no symptoms the. That person should be free to go simple

Thank God l am finally back to base after a nightmare of a journey to Nigeria. The only positive for me is time spent with my Mum. I came in 21st Sept with my PCR test, did the 2nd test on the 7th day, got to the airport on the 5th of Oct l was turned back . Went for another test on the 6th of October finally left the shores of Nigeria on the 8th of October to do a 20 hours journey to the UK. I said to my Mum so sorry l will not be coming back till this whole system is rectified.

Wow ..... what a nightmare indeed. Was thinking of visiting, but with all these problems in place; it’s safer to stay of Nigeria for now. The systems are not reliable and one doesn’t wanna get stranded from visiting. That could be very frustrating.
@@100vycky turned back because the test result l got on the 29th of September was not good enough for me to board my flight on the 5th of . So apparently there is no such thing as a short visit. If l had known l would have ignored the government rule of 7th day test on arrival and take the test on the 12th day. I stayed 2 weeks .Cost of man hours from rebooking my holiday at work, rebooking my flight ticket and of course the 3rd blasted test cost.

I am only travelling to Nigeria for 4 days, what happened as l will not be in Nigeria for 7 days.
Now that you asked people to do covid 7 days after arrival, I dont see no problem with that ,but people are complaining because of useless huge amount imposing on us, work for your own money same way we do here, dont extort us for no reason why getting 50k plus from diaspora? How many of you can pay that? It won't be better for you all ,and that money will give you covid.
It’s as simple as looking at other African countries that will accept diasporans and the financial boost they will bring to their economy and not have all these restrictions

I did the test over a week ago, till now I have not received or hear anything about the result. I asked the laboratory through mail about my result, no response. Also, I had to pay 10k for sample collection outside Lagos.

Funke for some one travelling o n the 16 of October can the test be done on Monday the 12. Cause it takes 72hours for the test results to be released
This is good information and I have no problem with the system that is put in place. My only concern is the amount for the test in Nigeria. IT should be cheaper than this, the government should not allow these private labs to take undue advantage of us. Secondly it's not fair for labs in Lagos to charge more. You need to look into this

Yes you do, go to the portal, the link is in the description section fill the form and chose the place you want to do your test. You can also Coss check at the airport if it's really necessary but As for me I think it's better you do it to be on the safe side or at least be prepared to pay for it. Because these official are not going to let you go away with that money, 😆

The issue of airlines that are yet to be allowed, airfrance and klm since many who have their tickets with these airlines are in a bad situation. What is the government doing to resolving this problem?.

They're banned from flying to Nigeria, I believe. You may check the list of banned airlines in one of her previous videos

Good job guys!! Nigerians are always in horry, like cutting ways and complains about everything being bad in Nigeria but follows rules and regulations when they travel to other countries no matter how long and how difficult the processes.
It takes 4-5 working days in america. If I am to travel Saturday night. To be on the safe side, I have to take the test on a Monday morning. By Saturday evening, it's more than 120 hours. Pls what do I do.
Depending on your state - Walgreens offer 2 hours rapid results for free. This was accepted by the airline. Visit Walgreens.com, search using your zip code. Schedule your appointment, show up for appointment and results emailed to you. Good luck
I believe the doctor said they wanted a pcr test not a rapid test, pre and post arrival.What you will have in Nigeria for sure, is a pcr test. The rapid test only has an 80% sensitivity so they could be false negatives or false positives.
We do appreciate your efforts on this programe. The main point i wanted to say is _we are pleading to you to reduce the cost.. because to.my on side i have to pay 51k when we are returning back home and we have to pay the same when we are going baxk. Please look into this.matter. because i could. See some.nigerians..saying they.can't afford it and rathwr paying this they will remain where they are.

I paid N45,000 for the test in Abuja and also paid $150 in Kotoka airport Accra. The test costs equivalent of N69,000 in Ghana! Nigeria's window is 5 days. Ghana is 72 hours. A Ghanaian returnee family that could not pay for the test in Kotoka airport were detained. The video footage caused an outcry here. Why do we always complain about our own? I think Nigeria is trying.
We also need to know that Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) processes (not just for testing but for DNA analysis and other uses) is NOT CHEAP! Has never been. If it is cheap or free, it is being paid for by someone or by the government. It is just the way it is.

i am a nurse in the uk, i get tested for covid each week by the nhs and always been negative. am i allowed to use this test so long as its within the 120hours? meaning i dont need to do a private test as well. thank in advance

No l work in the NHS as well, they do not accept SMS or emails. They need a PCR test with a certificate which the NHS does not provide. Good luck on your trip.

This is so discriminatory , if Abuja is paying less than Lagos it doesn’t make any sense ,I believe Lago have more testing center then Abuja and Kano . It should be the same price for the testing after seven days across-the-board.

He said you pay in the portal as you upload your test results.
Then you will be give QR number, even if you you are unable to pay because of the bank card you have.
Why we in diaspora playing money in Nigeria airport for the cov19 test which is ridiculous bcs in the country we are coming from they are doing it for any traveler for free, so why Nigeria Gov collecting money from us.

I don't get it. How can a Covid-19 test be more expensive in Nigeria than USA. I did a COVID test last month in United states and it cost $25 only. Why should the test in Nigeria be from $50 and above? This is a rip. off.
