In America, it depends on the school. My elementary was 6 years, middle school 2 (there was one school in the same district that had 3 years), and universally 4 years of high school.

38:55 In Sweden we have 7 years of elementary school ( the first year is not the actual first year, it’s like kindergarten but with a bit of actual learning, so it’s from age 6-12) then we have middle school, 7th 8th & 9th (age 13-15) after this we don’t have to study anymore (we probably won’t get good jobs but it’s not illegal to not attend) but we have Highschool, called gymnasium in Swedish (age 16-19) 1st 2nd & 3rd grade (I’m currently in 1st grade of high school and I get my summer break June 13th :) after high school we have college (called universitet) in which we can study even more, for example when I graduate high school I will already be an educated assistant nurse, however if I wanna be a nurse or doctor I have to study for 5-6 years more
