It’s sad to see cars like this disappearing from the market - EVs will never be like this. Well done - this is a keeper.
21 years ago almost to the day, I took delivery of my S4 Estate in exactly the same colour. Easily the best car I ever had….back when Audi’s were hewn from a block of granite. Used to drive down to the alps with the family to go skiing. Brilliant with snow tires, awesome in the mountain roads and then ballistic on the autobahn….with 2 kids and all our kit….what a car.

I have owned a 2004 S4 Saloon with Tipt for 5 years. Good highway cruiser, excellent grip in the rain. It is nose-heavy so you can slide the rear a bit with trailbraking and have some fun.
Lovely car! I had one about 12 years ago. Rattling timing chains are the main issue to warch for! The nylon guides crack and due to it using hydraulic tensioners, the chain will grind over the guides on start up. Its an engine out job. Awesome machines tho 👍
That’s lovely. I’ve had an RS4 Avant of the same generation (similar but different engine) and then a B8.5 RS4 after it. The older car will always have it for me, I should have never sold it. 😢
