I was at the following night’s show in Oakland when the local high school kid played drums on MYM. I remember seeing him in the bathroom before Josh opened and the kid was telling someone he was playing tonight. I thought, yeah, right, some kid is playing tonight. I was floored when he came out to play MYM. He was fantastic!
@@pja4671 Klinghoffer opened and sat in on drums for a song or three. I was there but don't recall which drummer played what songs. The local guy did baba O'Riley, I believe

I know there are penalties for not showing up at big arenas but what a terrific way to flip it. This is that shit all the scenesters and naysayers accused them of not having. Balls.
I think it’s hard to say from the sound quality on this video. I’m curious to hear the soundboard because I think it looks like Josh is holding it down fine.

Josh Klinghoffer….you don’t need the RHCPs!! Super talented.
This was such a great PJ concert moment! I’m so stoked for Josh Arroy! PJ and Eddie are so awesome for doing something like this.
Favorite Sleater Kinney song, nice one Ed!
Amazing, thanks for sharing
This was the moment when Josh Arrayo (sp?) was plucked from obscurity to become Pearl Jam's next drummer, lol
Josh Klinghoffer.
@@pja4671 NO, Arroyo,...also a Josh

Apparently it was for
That's two songs that sound soulless without Matt. Am I wrong? Is Jack Available?

Really though man? What are you watching this on a phone or something? There’s no way of determining that unless you’re in the arena
I was there and very impressed with all of the drummers. But then I'm not a drummer and to me it doesn't look easy
@@danielyoung5417 Rich was better. And fun to watch.
@@Alzrad Yea, Rich was better so it is Josh. I respect him as a musician. Not sure what he's doing there though.
