Who told you nobody visits this country? Tourismus is booming in Romania and my UA-cam feed is full of people just like you that visit romania and vlog about it.
it's obv an exaggerated title referring to the fact that it doesn't get many tourists, which it doesn't he's only got good things to say about romania so your comment is kinda weird tbh, don't understand what you tried to achieve
don't think he meant it that way. He is just trying to compliment us in a different way. Poate ca modestia, ospitalitatea și bunul simț original este exact ce ar putea fi un magnet pentru alții. Multă sănătate!❤
Hey Christian. We are from NYC too. We've live in Old Town for 3 months. We're heading up to Brashov in 2 weeks along with our two dogs. Can you share that AirBNB that in this episode? Romania IS awesome. Rock on! -Frank.
AND FOR YOU IF WANT TO RED @robertmarinescu-zo6ib 0 seconds ago MAN, I LOOK AT YOU AND I'M FEAR FOR YOUR MENTAL HEALTH. IT TOOK ME 45 SECONDS TO KNOW WHAT YOU WANT TO SAY IN THE EXPOSITION. I'M GLAD FOR YOU THAT YOU'RE DOING IT FOR THE LAST TIME WITH THIS COUNTRY. OK, I'M I AM A CITIZEN OF THIS COUNTRY, SO I KNOW WHAT I WANT TO TALK ABOUT. IT IS AN INFECTED COUNTRY IN ALL CHAPTERS, THERE ARE ONLY 30 PERCENT OF THE POPULATION CONDITIONS TO WASH THE BODY AT HOME, MORE THAN 200,000 CHILDREN EAT ONE ONCE A DAY, ELDERLY FROM THE ASYLUM THEY ARE DELIBERATELY LEFT TO SUFFER FROM HUNGER AND MANY OF THEM BEGGING FOR BREAD ON THE FENCES, PATIENTS WITH MENTAL DISEASES ARE KEPT IN CHAINS, YOU READ RIGHT, TIED TO THE BED, CANCER PATIENTS BEGGING IN FRONT OF THE BIG STORES BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT IS NO LONGER GIVING IT TO THEM ENOUGH MEDICINES, SOME ARE EVEN DEATH QUICKLY WITH THIS BAD ATTITUDE, PARENTS WHO SELL THEIR GOOD CLOTHES ON THE STREETS BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY FOR FOOD AND BILLS, AND I'LL STOP HERE, ENOUGH. WHAT THE HELL BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT
Hey there! So happy to see you liked our amazing country. Just so you know, from what I've seen, you didn't get to the beautiful part of Sibiu. Sibiu was designated the cultural capital of Europe in 2007. There is a lot to see there, like The Brukenthal Museum, the old town. The people you saw sleeping in the train station are very unlikely homeless. They were probably just travellers who were there too early. Romania has the highest home ownership percentage in the whole world :) Predeal, the town you never heard of, is the most important sky resort in Romania. In the winter it's packed with tourists. I agree about the airport, we all hate it :). But Tarom is great. I hope you'll come back and do Sibiu justice. Btw, I love your hair.
The place you stayed at in Romania is so amazing. My daughter, by herself, went to Japan and Slovakia. Two different trips. She loved both countries. Her grandfather's family is from what is now Slovakia. She stayed in the capital Bratislava and loved it. She felt safer there than she does in the USA. She was amazed at how clean it was especially in Japan. The USA has definitely become a third world country. Going to check out the rest of your channel. Safe travels.
Hi Christian! 😅 you killed me with "I was anti hammock until this hammock " statement!😂 Thanks for nicely presenting the beautiful Romania to your followers! Happy travels!👍
come to the area of Moldavia and Romania, in the area of Neamt: Bicaz Gorges, Bicaz Dam and Lake, Ceahlău Mountain, Văratec and Agapia Nunneries (among the largest in the Orthodox world in terms of number of monks), Neamț Monasteries and hermitages: Pângărați, Bistrita, Horaita, Horăicioara, Neamț, Pocrov, Secu, Sihăstria, Sihla, Daniil Sihastru, etc.. The Neamț Citadel from Târgu Neamț, the Ion Creangă memorial house, the history museum and the Eneolithic museum from Piatra Neamț with the vestiges of the oldest civilization in Europe, etc.. Come to the Neamtlu area!
As romanian, I like your sense of humor. Nobody is visiting this country😂 In 2023 more than 13 million tourists visited Romania. After pandemic tourists visiting Romania has increased with 10 percent. Romania is safer than many european countries. People are robbing Apple stores in daylight In London and USA. Try to do that in Romania and you will see. Enjoy my country meanwhile.
I don't know what your issue with airports is, tbh. I think you have very high expections of them. Otopeni is a *standard* mid-size international airport, there's nothing particularly wrong with it - these few days when the AC broke down are an *exception.* I've never had problems with the temperature when I used it. And at some point, I heard you said it looks like a fishmarket (in a previous video)? That is *extremely insulting* tbh. Otopeni is a clean airport, run at typical international standards. Fish markets are usually these grim places, extremely dirty & where the smell is unbearable. That is *not* Bucharest airport. 🤨
The politician talk is the most generic shit people say. Half the people complaining have no idea how anything works, what taxes are for and what the real problems, which most of the time are local, really are. And none ever want to learn. It''s like a mantra for them. The taxes are some of the lowest in Europe, check if you don't believe me. With the notable exception of the social tax that is high because there are a lot of pensioners, and since we can't exactly starve them, that tax is high. This entire thing is old people who don't want to take responsibility for anything that they did, the culture of bribes, the stealing that was rampant when they were young and all the issues that are the results of their choices in the past. And that will complain about young people all the time and cry for the dictator and how they built Romania and how all young people will never be as good as them. When they're the problem half the time. It's making my blood boil just listening to her since I hear the same generic bullshit constantly, and if you ask them a few questions about what they're talking about, they haven't even looked at even basic info about the subject. The trees thing is also insane, they're actually more trees now than ever, the ones sold are from near the road, and it sucks because they don't pay taxes, and halt the time it's local authorities and local people that get bribed to allow this to happen. Again the problem is local, and no one from there does anything about it, because a lot of locals make money too. The idea the president has anything to do with this is crazy. The president has a lot of shit that he can be criticised for, even good reasons to never elect him of his party, but no one knows because none of these people ever look up anything really. So there you go that actual political problem in Romania is people just making shit up to be upset over while never actually looking anything up. And a dooomer culture like you've never seen. If you ask the average Romanian over 50, the country is destroyed, nothing was built, no one has any jobs and we are the poorest country in the world, while the wages tripled in 10 years, it's the most insane thing.
Sibiu is a really nice city, but you should visit the center. I lived there for about eight months, and it was a fantastic time. Also, it seems that you did not visit the Transfăgărășan, which is not far from Sibiu.
Do not know if you visited..Maramures..is the Northern part..very cold in the winter.. go around St Mary..15August or Christmas, 27th December in Sighet they have celebrations and many people are wearing traditional costumes..Wooden churches, with tall towers, some history, awsome people and food. Apuseni mountains..underrated, Orsova and the narrowing part of Danube.. Resorts with water treatments in Transylvania..like Covasna and Tusnad Romania could do more to develop tourism, has increasing, but still good prices.
Any time you are welcome to our country! Thank you so much for showing respect and promoting my country!people like you make friendship between countries, and people easier and this is the future of humankind !a lot of respect from a humble Romanian guy❤❤❤!

Dang, I'd like to go there someday. Sometimes i wonder how my great (x3) grandfather felt leaving Romania for the USA? Either way, hope i can eventually.
I tell you how I felt leaving Romania as a child when my parents moved us to Canada: Stupid. I felt stupid and I feel even more stupid now. I miss it and I hope that I can at least go back there and die there.
what the hell is with the comments on this video!? it's as if all the haters and ignoramuses who, after a day of stressful work, thought to leave a comment for the poor man on this video have gathered here. 😂 This man spent 7 weeks in Romania, he did nothing but promote the country. If he brings up certain issues, let's be serious , we are aware of them , why pretend .
17:45 the airport has problems with the AC system, it's not working for 1 month I think. It's not a typical thing, but you had bad luck to be this time at airport :))
Before anyone asks, those Vans are not "marshrutkas" like in Russia, the bus transit network was bigger (more used) in the past but with everyone owning a car it downsized, so it´s now 16 seater vans when there were 52 seater coaches 15 years ago. The destinations are the same as they were 15-20 years ago. I actually am from Sibiu, one of the largest transport operator in Romania was from there, Atlassib it was called, ended up bankrupt due to the aforementioned downsizing (and other issues).
So you are super lost in space, you have no idea about this country. Romania is a beautiful country with very welcoming people and old traditions. We have many beautiful locations where you can go. 1 or 2 years is not enough to be on the road and visit all the special and beautiful locations of this country. Your opinion misinforms the visitors and members of your channel. Please revise your attitude and bad words about this country because you have no idea what you are talking about. Each country has its specifics, its beauties, its traditions, that's why it's not good to compare countries with each other and raise your pulse to things you say just to find out.
Taxi lady was funny. But really mad at gouverment. You asked what is our biggest issues.. All countries have coruption, we belive our country is the most corupt..which could be😅, but nothing out of ordinary. Lets see what I would fix first. 1. Trains are all shit, old, no a/c, always late. 2. Hospitals - even if lately there is less coruption in hospital, in small cities is still a issue. You don't pay the doctors(which by law is free) they will not do a thing for you. Big cities got alot better lately..so, there is a change. 3. Roads - we desperatly need highways..our contry is amazing, but is a pain to have to spend 10h to cross it from one side to another[650km]. 4. Schools are outdated, definetly in need of reforms
"nobody" lmao i once saw 50 brits drinking guineas in the old centar of bucharest. Nevermind if you go to a university area, black americans, black english, actual africans people from all over Europe that decide for some reason to study here
Mister.... who told you this? Prince Charles have houses in our country... change that stupid name...we have a beautiful country and the best people... the best food...
Have you heard about Seklers? Native people in Transylvania. I live here, I'm a Sekler and we speak hungarian language. We are almost 1 million in Transylvania. Next time you should visit my hometown Székelyudvarhely, 90% of the people speaks hungarian language. Hit me up!

How about you don't film people without their f knowledge. And USA for f example have homless encampments in the great cities centers and drug encampments. So take a damn seat
10:31 This means that Sibiu is a safe city, people have the courage to sleep on benches. They are not homeless people, they are travelers.
My dream vacation is to Romania.
