+Mike Shepard I disagree. Judging from the incredibly lax enforcement of the flopping rules, I think the NBA couldn't care less of getting rid of the worst part of the game. As a result, it's tough to really blame the stars/players that continue to do it, when they're being rewarded for their antics.
My favorite is Chris Bosh, no one can beat that late reaction, hands down, especially in a slow motion playback

To me flopping ruins the game (the outcome of the game and the player stats if its a foul). The NBA needs stricter rules on flopping like 1st offense is $20,000, 2nd offense is $50,000, 3rd is 5 game suspension, and 4th is 10 to 20 game suspension and it goes for ALL players.

The reason for the harsh penalties is to teach players (from player's that never flopped to veteran floppers) to not to do it whether a player likes it or not. Doing that might help the outcome of game and postseason ranking.
Fights its the player(s) and/or team that makes a stupid decision and sometimes affects the outcome. But a player flopping is only their stupidity and should be penalized.
