This and the Untamed are now at the top of my list for favourite dramas. This was just so well done; the emotions felt, then character development made; my love in eSports and gaming in general, and of course the score was beautiful.

I haven't seen The King's Avatar (I'm hoping I can find it on UA-cam) but the fact that this song was sang by R1se and having that in mind whilst reading the lyrics make me emotional as the lyrics remind me of R1se's journey together in the Chuang competition.
The Live Action TV Series may have completely gone off the rails with the Novel. But still it was in its own way really fun to watch. The music is one of the definite highlights of the show.

There are also characters in the Novel missing from the show, like the rich guy who asks Grim to join his guild, Who eventually ends up creating his own team and joins the league. There is also the multiple ways in which grim profits from the Guild Battles, boss hunting events etc etc. Its actually alot to cover. But its worth reading the novel, to see how it differs. Also the TV ends with the preliminary qualifiers, The novel goes into the pro league season, and covers getting sponsorship, what happens to excellent era after being sold etc.

Also love the fact they dubbed Ye Xiu with the same voice actor in the Animated series. There is an official translation on the webnovel website or app. Alot of Chinese Web Novels has a english translation now view that site.

When I first heard this while watching the show, ah, waaaah this song is beautiful and there's just that warm feeling settling in my chest on listening to it. And now that I'm listening to this again, I'm having flashes of the scenes from the drama in my mind's eyes. Even if everyone else that has read that the drama is disappointing if compared to the novel, watching it was still satisfying and honestly how do you compress 1000+ of chapters into just how many episodes?! Everytime i hear this song, i always feel the aura of the winner at competition
god this song is so good, I started the series and it's actually not that bad. It makes me imagine myself experiencing this with a group (hopefully one day I can...) But either way watching this makes me feel glad for them that they have fun and experience everything in a group.

I finished the series 2 days ago (it is 19 June 2022). I am so glad I got to watch it sooner than later because it is now my absolute favorite drama series. Every single moment was amazing, and even though they used only a few songs, each song was perfect for the scenes they played in.. The King's Avatar is ... GLORIOUS!
