Wildwood Guitars and PRS Guitars have a storied history together. So, when Paul Reed Smith himself offered Wildwood Guitars the chance to raid his sacred Wood Library, we hopped on the first available plane to the PRS plant in Stevensville, Maryland. David Grissom is one of our favorite artists, so we decided to use his Signature model as our foundation. Then, just for fun, we decided to truly make this instrument one-of-a-kind by borrowing the back thickness and 24.594 scale length of the McCarty.
Once we figured out what kind of guitar we wanted to build, the real fun began. Paul was kind enough to let us choose every piece of every instrument, and we spent hours agonizing over what slabs of wood would sound the best. We obsessed about everything from the density of the necks to the weight of the mahogany backs, and we are confident that we selected some of the finest quilted maple tops and Brazilian Rosewood fingerboards in the world.
If you've ever chatted with us about Paul's phenomenal instruments, you know how much we love Dave Grissom and his outstanding signature model. Now, we invite you to experience the DGT's comfortable neck profile paired with a 24.594 scale-length, top-of-the-line electronics package, chameleon-like sonic versatility, drool-worthy cosmetic appointments, and a little bit of Wildwood magic. It is our honor and privilege to present our take on a modern classic: the Wildwood Guitars Wood Library DGT Artist Quilt model.

That is a sweet sounding axe. DGT must stand for "Damn! Great tone!"
You can tell Greg liked it. Beautiful quilt, beautiful sound.
I just binge watch wildwood videos to hear greg play! such a nice style
Probably my favorite PRS. Just sounds amazing!
Hell yeah, a PRS challenge. Went to Nashville with money to burn. Best place to look for a guitar. Carter, Gruhns, etc... Went right back home to my 2001 PRS singlecut. $1500 dollar gem and I have played the best Gibson has to offer. Not even close to my used reverb pickup. Hell, I saved enough to buy two PRS amps. HOt damn. Let Dave sing it. ua-cam.com/video/FCOJ0dJydCw/v-deo.html
and FFS, what's a big G fan boi doing trolling the private stock shit. man get a life.
humbuckers are split into single Not tapped . single coils are tapped . i think .
That used to be true. PRS (and Gibson as well) are now doing a thing where they split one pickup into a single coil, and add in a bit of a tapped coil from the other pickup. Me, I don't like it. It's a very pleasant living room tone, but not very useable in a band situation.
$10,800 holly cow!
Yea, no.
Even if I did, thats a retarded way to spend 11 thousand dollars. Its a fucking guitar. This is a masturbatory piece of gear.
Gregg dont need no B-bender!!
Haha, "you've got the beautiful tremolo system on here" duh, except there is no trem bar on the guitar so he can't demonstrate it. We all know he typically doesn't use a trem - probably told them to take it off before the demo here! Oh well, I can vouch for the fact that the PRS trem's are incredibly good - I DO use them!
Yeaaaa.... *sees price* ..Nooooooo
nice guitar nice sound 9 k yes but 11k get the fuck outta here

Am I the only one who thinks I would only part with that much cash for a Fender or gibson custom shop guitar.
Did you ever want to take the worst parts of Fender and put them together with the worst parts of Gibson!? That's where we come in! PRS Guitars - come on down to your local retailer and 'Feel The Meh' for yourself ...
Be bored by one today! PRS! get ready to be lukewarm - if you are not completely and utterly unresponsive by the feel of our guitars - we are backed by a 30-day dissatisfaction Guarantee, -Steven Wright Voice

I lost it at 'Feel The Meh'.
Love it! I'd say 95% of PRS guitars are meh, but I don't think this particular one is meh, sounds pretty good. Not $10k good, but thats for the doctors and lawyers to deal with.
