Found this awesome Gipsy Danger model on Facepunch. So i was trying to make a Walk Cycle for it. facepunch.com/s... Many Thanks to No5_sniper for making this possible!
You can probably tell that i dont walk that often haha. I just noticed that. I animated the legs first and then the upper body so i must of gone in the wrong direction there. Thanks for pointing that out!
Awesome! I'm a huge fan of kaiju/mecha movies and I personally think Pacific rim hit that hunger spot we've been deprived of in the last decade, heh. Awesome job either way! :3
I don't have an IK rig for the model itself, but i explained how i used an IK to do this on the Facepunch link i posted. It's pretty simple, but wil require a bit of annoying parenting.
alright thanks dude i will see if perhaps one of my friends in osfm will make an ik rig to make animating this easier in the future but for now i will use your method
I just started experimenting with doing it this way and i'm probably going to try deforming the scout with an IK a bit so i can fit it into Metal Gear Rex model's limbs so i can animate that with an IK. So many posibilities!
Great animation! But ...people (or Jäger) don't walk that way. When you put your left foot forward, you move your *right* hand forward.

Yep. We need more kickass giant mecha movies... I'm kind of done with all the War crap and the generic action hero movies..
@@ZappasBappas 6 year late reply but totally agree!

yes quite it takes creativity to make sfm work sometimes but when you finally get it, so worth the work
