Disc Method (Disk Method Calculus)

This Calculus 2 video uses graphs and animation to explain the disc method (disk method). We show you what solids of revolution are and how the disk method can help us find the volume of a solid of revolution. We explain both disc method around x axis and disc method around y axis, revolving a region about an axis to create a volume. This application of integration is commonly found in a Calculus 2 course.
