NEW ALBUM COMING JANUARY 2009!
It doesn't matter what language it is sung in. The emotion and sincerity is clear as a bell. I learned all these songs in grade school and sang them every year until I graduated. I don't need to hear it sung in English. It's rather beautiful to hear it sung in another language. I love it..Jana, you are truly awesome! Thank you for sharing your beautiful voice with the world. That is what God planned for you.
ill play her christmas songs for the rest of my life such a voice calls to you durring the seson
Truly a sweet anointing on your voice. Thank you.
@ girlsrgirls100 You love it, because you understand it from the heart
which language is that? i like the song, the voice and the language is interesting...
Beautiful Christ mas Song
Wow, that was just soo beautiful. I truly hope you'll sing it in English as well. :)
BEAUTIFUL.
I like that she sings it in her voice- the voice of her people.
Hearing music in her voice we don't hear and not in our voice forced on her.
@32byrd I hope she never sings it in English. because its beautiful as it is in a native language, no?
dont know what she is singing/saying..but its sounds good..haha and she is soo pretty..
@hmullike

amazon =))))))
Wow! Beautiful voiice.
@AriaInTheSky Sorry I didn't know that was a language.
I do hope this album is available in Columbus, Ohio. You're making even the very simple little carols sound so rich and full of meaning (which they are). I love hearing the songs done in the Native North American languages, even tho' I don't know them. The Oneida seems like I can almost understand what's being said. Love this. Thank you, Jana.
it is availabie for streaming from Amazon's MP3 store....her store link isn't working rn
Beautiful, just love your gift.
I agree iotekhaneokwire. it does sound more beautiful than the english version. and why should an indigenous person change for others. they never changed for us
Just beautiful!
Really beautiful voice
What language is this??
@iotekhaneokwire that's very true. It holds a quality that I don't think it would have in english.
Just awesome....
American Indians were called by thefirst Spaniards,, In Dios, roughly Children of God. . Columbus et al, knew they weren't in India . Anyway, she has the voice from the Heavens ..
What r they saying
I don't think you need to understand the language to appreciate the song and how its sung
Janas voice was meant to bring us joy.
I know the song in English, and I have no clue the words she is singing. But you don't really need to know, all that is necessary is to listen to the beauty of it. Her songs are beautiful, no translation needed.
the song is being sung in the Oneida language
Thanx jana...merry christmas
Oneida
where can we buy it ??????
beautiful! what dialect is it Sioux, Navajo,Appache?
oneida. it says in the title
wtf is she saying? Christmas songs should be sung just as God intended them, in English.
