- "Brodozer" from the Discovery Channel's Diesel Brothers. It's the first diesel monster truck to compete in the Monster Jam series. This was at Monster Jam 2018 in Nashville TN at Nissan Stadium.

It was a great set, I was impressed by that truck last night. I drive Diesel trucks for a living, and the minute BD came out of the shoot, I heard that turbo whine and was impressed. The Diesel Brothers out did themselves last night.
I liked it. I drive trucks for a living and was glad to see a diesel. Hopefully this will be the first of many!

I think BroDozer has become my number one favorite. I still like Grave Digger but the BroDozer is absolutely an amazing piece of machinery. One, it's driven by Heavy D which I'm a fan of, especially in Diesel Brothers, the sound of the Wagler Duramax is awesome, and it's design is just like the Original BroDozer which is a rock crawler.
People saying this diesel can't compete are level in the old days of diesel. These guys ran the course in sub 20 secs and the winner ran a 19.8. The truck tight and well put together and took turns better than most of the pack last night in Tampa. New blood has the vets nervous and hating. DP has something here and have outdone themselves. Time will tell...

I hope more people make diesel monster trucks this one seems to haul ass. And the Chooch when he’s laying on it is awesome. To me the smoke and action makes up for the lack of exhaust noise

Diesel just doesn't work for a monster truck. As far as being a serious competitor. Not enough RPM, Turbo lag, Weight. A turbo gas engine would be more interesting and would probably yeild a better result.
Well he got 1st place soooooooo........ rpms done make a fuck the brodozer puts out twice the torque of the other truck I bet.
have you ever watched when the XDP truck ran the cummins abt 4-6 years ago...
@@Dylan-wp5kb They obviously can change the gear ratio to suit the engine. 1500 hp at the engine ends up with the same rpm and torque at the wheels, no matter where it happens at the engine, by using different ratios for different engines.
Can this diesel really compete with the alcohol engines? I own diesels and seems to me like this truck has turbo lag.
Rosie Cheeks It's got major turbo lag. I think diesels could hang with the supercharged engines with some serious tuning and trial and error.
You know absolutely nothing about diesels if you don’t think it can keep up. Wagler makes products that can OUTPERFORM an alcohol engine
It seems to me he does know what he's talking about. Heavy D, the driver even commented on his Facebook about the severe turbo lag on this truck.
Bassin_with_Brock_and_Kelsy yea and you notice they have to spool up that turbo before it moves. An supercharged alcohol motor has instant torque and hp where a diesel does not. Dumbass.
