*The Frenchman’s Bay is a body of water is believed to be named for Francois de Satignac de la Mothe-Fenelon. The Bay was once land locked before a canal dug into sandbar to allow vessels to serve what was then referred to as a Port Liverpool in 1843.
*Beachfront park is accompanied by a boardwalks with ample benches, shaded seating areas for picnic, children playground, spray pool & lead to Ontario Power Generation. When the Sun was bright & hot the water lake of the beach looked turquoise from the reflection of the sunlight.
Beachfront Park rests in the north shore of Lake Ontario & can be accessed from the southern end of Liverpool Road South.
