Bro why didn’t you just remove the hood latch mechanism. Would’ve made your life soooo much easier! You can put your hand right down the middle w/o issue. Also the thing about the eBay one is there is it doesn’t fill the cut out enough. All that area is going to get really dirty and once it oxidizes over time it will be really noticeable. But overall good vid man.
Unfortunately with my car, even after removing my hood latch mechanism, there was little to no space for my arms/hands to fit through. I didn't really notice any space in the horse cutout, but I will definitely give it another look once I get back into my car.
@@arex5.0 yeah the 3rd Gen they changed up the front a little so it’s harder to get your hand down there even if you remove the latch but I believe it’s still a touch easier. A friend of mines got his Emblem off EBay and it fit but tolerances were def not as good as OEM. It did not fit the area as perfectly. So he saved like 20-30 bucks but not really because he ended buying the OEM piece because it drove him nuts. LOL.
Mustang horse was actually designed and sculpted by Bill Swan and it was made out of fiberglass it's the exact horse that Phil copied the emblem from and in turn he got credit for making the horse even though Bill got paid 100 for the statue from Ford and also have a Thank you card from Edsel Ford
3m tape all over the back no need for clips … seriously … the original horse has just the clips and don’t worry about the eBay vs expensive one hell the original was cheap ass plastic ..
Beautiful car! What front chin spoiler did you install?
Link please
nice video G

Nice 5.0, what front lip is that ?
Hey bro! Thank you! Got it off eBay -- it's the PP2 style front lip that I added on to the stock lip
TIP remove the air box and you get a lot more room.
