@rockman fan Yeah that makes sense. I did some looking online and it seems they kept getting the same questions over and over again and were recommended games they didn't like repeatedly.
Plus the fact that it came nowhere near the amount of viewers RLM had.
Iirc they stopped because they (or Rich, at least) just got sick of fan interaction, as it was mostly either people being typical obnoxious gamers or just asking the same dumb shit over and over. I'd love for them to just play games together again and talk crap with one another tho, if they felt like doing so

I've watched this whole play through, the space quests, and police quest 2 like 4 times each since you guys stopped streaming. Miss these!
and the king's quest? I'm currently on a re-watch of their old sierra quest game stuff.

Dude! Sierra games, especially the Police Quest series, were my favorite growing up. King's Quest was pretty awesome, too. Although, I like the 1 remake better.

haha damn. I remember going to my friends house and playing this and ghost busters 2 on floppy disk back in 91.
I taught myself english in the third grade back in '89 so I could play police quest, leisure suit larry and Zork. Need to get the PQ vga remake and Swat games on gog one of these days.

pleeease guys! for the love of rich: you are video producers. have your audio in sync with the video. i know those streams are supposed to be relaxed and shit (and that's great) but is that too much to ask? would make watching this stuff so much more enjoyable and it's next to zero effort at all. pretty please.

Rich defending these games over point-and-click is nothing but nostalgia, these games have so much bullshit and bad design compared to anything LucasArts did for example.
Not really. This and Space Quest are two well-written games full of witty humor and great pixel art... and some bullshitting puzzles, and game over screens. Overall though, much more enjoyable than any Infogrames or Roberta Williamsesque King's Quest degeneracy.
Also, there won't be no Day of Tentacle or Full Throttle for a few years.
+Namfooodle His arguments against point and click are still valid. Those are just "click around until you find the thing that does the thing", that's no puzzle.
+Kevin Kennedy No it does not, have you even played them? Finding the things isn't the hard part. You could use the same argument against parser based adventure games, you just "write around until you find the thing that does the thing". The puzzles in these games are almost always very blatant and obvious, you just have to write it right. Point-and-click adventure games (the good ones) make you think more outside of the box (which is exactly the opposite of what Rich is saying, but then again he probably hasn't played most of the good ones).

Does Rich ever stop screaming into the mic, in future episodes? Do they ever adjust his audio to compensate? Or is it always this bad?
The uneven audio levels make this video almost unwatchable.
