      @@Jroc834In some cases, it’s probably because they don’t know, what they don’t know. They’re sold this dream that the U.S. is the promise land, and it’s not until they live in it first hand, are they able to see the realities for what they are.
      However, in many cases, people are coming from very poor countries where their economies and spending power is very poor (a low spending power in the context of their home countries and in the context of being able to afford traveling to other countries). So if they have networks in the U.S., they can gamify it in such a way, where they’ll live in a house with many people to make that piece affordable, work multiple jobs for 5-10+/- years, all while sending as much money (U.S. Dollars) as possible back to their families in their home countries (where the spending power of the dollars they make in the states, exponentially multiplies). Once they save up enough money, they go back to their home countries and live like kings/queens.

    This reminds me of being a teenager in the 90s and how everyone listened to X kind of music and would ridicule people who prefer the other kind. Then when we grew up we all realized "who cares? if they like it, good for them." Some of us genuinely want to live outside of the US for financial, social, or lifestyle reasons, or, most of all, a combination of all three. If someone is fine living in America, it's really good for them. Some of us just want something different.

      Well this is a bit more than 'musik' this is basically determining one's future and life or death. However its funny you mention about teenagers in the 90s because as a kid I wondered why certain heavy metal bands hated each other and planned assassinations or takeovers. By the late 2000s that had mellowed out though and these Amerikaner bastards came in and began the mass subversion of cultures..

    I encourage young people (let's say under 40) to take Andrew's advice. As a senior in the USA I wish I had done this 30 years ago. By the time you are on Medicare you may not have the energy, health, and/or be too family/friend connected to feasibly try this. Go for it.

    • @madsgedanken6903
      @madsgedanken6903 2 роки тому

      You 'seniors' should have hung the WEF puppets 30 years ago than we young people would not have to do Neo-dodging moves just to ensure our families futures..

    • @damonmelendez856
      @damonmelendez856 Рік тому

      Medicare and the way seniors are treated is a disgrace. Meanwhile, Medicaid pays for just about everything- and why? Because it’s run as a ‘free gibs’ program for certain demographic groups. Senior citizens who have been productive their entire life get the shaft. This government is hellbent on transferring the wealth to the certain ‘favored demographic’ groups. We need to vote with our wallets, every $ we spend in the US goes to propping up a system which is hostile to us.

The nation is divided; politically and culturally, people are angry and overly aggressive, cost of living just keeps going up, healthcare is a joke, school shootings every week, safety and security is at an all time low, etc. Who in their right mind would want to live in the US?

    I figured this out in 1989. Moved from the USA and was an employee. Saved, invested, and only paid personal income tax to the US once in 32 years. Found employers in 3 different countries who took care of my lodging, travel, insurance, utilities, pension, even some food and delivered water, to name some of the benefits. Now a multi-millionaire who, in 1990, had only $22K in wealth. I still have my citizenship, but I also have 2 permanant residencies, so I have options. It is still possible today, but my "industry," honestly, is horrible unless you are a leftist now. I don't imagine many reading this comment are.

    I agree with everything you're saying. also as a longtime viewer of Alex Hormozi as well I believe the soul of what he was saying was something like " the number one priority for a successful entrepreneur is business growth and scaling, the highest ROI an entrepreneur can have is almost always actively pursuing that growth and scaling, don't be distracted by small scale things such as taxes and corporate structure, focus on growth" While I also believe that growth and scaling is paramount, the lifestyle ROI and tax ROI for going offshore are unbelievable. Alex hormozi himself even says that he loves "set it and forget it" solutions, where you do something once and permanently and perpetually see results. Perhaps if you and Alex really got to talk maybe for a few hours, he'd likely come over to your side because you have an important part of the equation that he likely is missing. As someone who is using one of his businesses to operate mine, I find it funny that he says to deal with the US taxes and not find ways of doing things different and for cheaper. He literally gives examples of how he eats from fast food restaurants in order to save money. Lol
    He also only sells high ticket prices on his programs and in my opinion bait and switch tactics by marketing FREE training programs.
    I applaud you in your efforts to stay classy with this video and I look forward to being an expat one day. 🤙🏾

    Many of the solutions that you propose do not require 7 or 8 figure fortunes, so I find the way you position Nomad Capitalist to be a bit ..... "only for the very rich." A whole bunch of these places have barely need a need for more than a couple hundred grand and a couple thousand dollars of monthly income! Maybe to be your client we need a bunch of dough, but it bugs me that it all has to be framed in this somewhat pretentious way. I get marketing and the want to be high end or appear exclusive, but it really is pretty condescending. Free information is greatly appreciated, but watching your channel, gaining actionable info when I have 6 figures makes me relatively worthless every time I gain info from you.

    Advantage Andrew. There's a lot to be said for putting yourself in situations where you are forced to grow. There will never be a perfect time. You've just got to take a leap of faith. It's been six weeks since I returned from Tbilisi and despite the madness going on in Ukraine, I am still a believer. In fact it may be the very best time to invest in an apartment there. I already have a business structure and bank accounts setup.

    Alex's argument, ultimately, rests on Prestige.
    The US--for now--remains a high Prestige country. As the current global hegemon, the US has the highest Prestige in the world. Businesses gain from that fact, and it adds real value to their brand, which translates into revenue on the balance sheet.
    The problem is that Prestige is fleeting and illusory, and therefore it is a high-maintenance affair. Those that care for substance over Prestige have no problem accepting Andrew's premises regarding going offshore. Nevermind the tax benefits, the practical liberties, etc.; what matters is that going offshore can be (and for the savvy and competent, is) a superior way to erect and conduct business operations than relying on one government's Prestige to be the cornerstone of your company's value, so long as you can maintain the conditions needed to do so.
    The problem with Andrew's argument is that it relies on a free and open world. That is now ending. More countries are closing off, and regional blocs (often antagonistic) are forming. Governments are coming in worldwide that will explicitly privilege their own nationals (regardless of citizenship) over aliens and foreigners (regardless of citizenship), further deconstructing the global economy, and they care not for the arguments of outsiders no matter how wealthy or savvy they are- you are not one of them, so you don't belong, and you never will so get out.
    In a firmly autarchic world where global trade is limited, a country's Prestige matters greatly. In a globalized world economy, it does not. Prestige doesn't require globalization; one can be king of it all while being firmly self-sufficient, as the US and the UK were when they became the most prestigious countries (and thus global powers).
    And we are reverting back to that limited global world order.

      Well, Rome did not remain on top forever so the US will indeed lose her prestigious place. As for an open and free world, I guess I am just waiting for the one-world government that has been in the works for decades. Once digital currencies become the norm with the global ID system and social credit system, the world will no longer be free the way we define what freedom is.

    I've followed Andrew for quite some time, likely due to a similar thought process and goals. There are always going to be naysayers or people who don't subscribe to his philosophy and objectives. By all means if you want to "stay where you're treated worst", then you have the right to do that. I would counter the naysayers by saying if you don't believe you could be an entrepreneur abroad, are you really ready for the challenges of the international world and entrepreneurship? When things get bad or even when they are good, it's important to adapt, plan and hedge your risks in life and you can choose to be the "Ant" or the "Grasshopper". Cheers everyone.
