Non guitar players don’t realize how easy most riffs are.
115 on the drums is mad skills tho
@@roamz10 true that
Same for most Bass things
I'll add in some hammer ons and slap bass so people think I'm much better then I am xD
Yes for real. The real crazy skill is being able to just listen to it and play it like it’s nothing
@@Ceege48 Yeah it's really impressive being able to learn by ear and do it on the first attempt.
Bro my jaw dropped when he said 115, I got so hyped
Dude same I was scrolling through Spotify the other day and found it and got so happy, glad to see mad people like it

BRING ME 115!!!!!
Same, die hard zombies player since 2010
Bro my username is literally for this XD
non musicians out there think so many things are tough to play. killed it as always
cus those drums were so easy to mimic off 1 listen
So you`re saying not many things are tough to play?
@@killforluvAlright post the vid then
@@WhereIsChromeHe is being sarcastic. He is saying the original comment is calling the drum pattern easy which isn’t true.
@@killforluv oh nah, the drums aren't so easy, but the guitar really is really easy, and his jaw dropped at that.
to be fair it's not like they have a concept of how easy it is so I don't mind people being impressed by easy stuff, for me it's when I play something very difficult then they ask me to play something extremely simple and are more impressed than they should be.
I promise you it's really not hard, I could go do this right now.
As a Sound Engineer, I’m most impressed by your amp tonal matching skills😂
Me too😂😂😂😂
Peavy 5150/6 or marshall american highgain with ibanez ts9 and sm56 blendet with a little softer mic is kind of classic modern metal guitar tone wich is used basically everywhere in some form
I have a form of perfect pitch and talent with tuning amps to the right settings, I can get it perfect to a song if I want to, any song from any year. All the way back to the 1400’s.
Same lol
Fr😂
Yeah bro if you play confidently enough, you don't have to play completely correctly, just good enough. There were a lot of missing notes from the recreated guitar but like, for just hearing it once and done, hella excellent, bro.
Marty Schwartz would like to know your location
It's also impossible to know the notes by just ear. I played Enter Sandman riff to my music teacher (with probably more than 20 years of experience) yet when he heard the riff he messed up.
You can say that maybe his hearing isn't excellent, idk if it says anything but... he can tune a guitar by ear which should be more difficult.
@@ExecutionerOfPosers if u have perfect pitch and you’ve memorised the notes enough you can tell the notes
@@ExecutionerOfPoserssometimes it takes more than perfect pitch, u need the other one like waht they usually called relative pitch and yea.. jst like hearing fast rap voice and transcribing it the perfect pitch guys need to keep studying hearing, the training called solfeggio

as a percussionist (drummer), both peeps above me are both correct
As another percussionist, it's not that hard to just play a similar sounding beat, which is what he did, and it's not a very complicated beat either. No shade towards the guy though, I'm sure he's very skilled, but this is just easy improv.

At least for the guitar this is pretty easy to figure out. Doesnt really require that excellent of hearing.

He deserved more than $10 ngl
Nah, the dude who offered 10$ deserves $1000 for giving him content XD
he played it wrong on guitar
Nah he only looped the very first part of the guitar track, the drums were good though
@@franciscogranados7225Drums were way out of tempo. Still impressive considering it was his first try tho
Bruh the riff has 3 notes, that was not worth $10 💀 the drums were off tempo too
Being able to learn an entire arrangement by ear and replicate it on every instrument just for some guy to send you 10 bucks is EXACTLY what it's like being a full-time musician.
To be fair, the guy only had to identify 3 chords, not an entire arrangement
@@boofington4260 sure man
@@Logandoingstuff it was a 3 note riff
He didnt even get the riff right tho. Its close but not it at all. It was only $10 tho so not worth ig lol
As a guitarist, yes, i can hear a key of the song. Yes, i can hear the notes and see them on a fretboard. Yep, i hear chord progression too. But it's really cool then you can instantly play it without any preparation!!!

in my humble HUMBLE opinion...he deserved at least 20...
Sounds good in theory, now who’s got 20
But 115 isn’t that hard.
Pretty good for a first try, but if that deserved $20, we'd all be rich.
was about to say shouldve been a hundred
It was an easy riff
For those who may not play music, what this gentleman just did is called Active Listening. It’s a pretty basic concept, basically you listen to the song without playing your instrument, primarily to figure out the chord arrangement, timing and the key. It’s a simple concept but it’s not necessarily simple to do, you have to have a good understanding of what we’ll generalize as music theory to do. It is a great skill for any musician to have, and this is a great demonstration of it.
Plus there is the fact that some people are just wired to easily be able to pick that stuff out. Me personally, I suck at recreating the sound but I could probably tell you the key it's in, roughly how the bpm (beats per minute) of the song, and with a little bit of listening, what time signature a song is in.
And to add to your comment, this skill is absolutely trainable, but takes a long time to fully master.
don't you need absolute pitch to do this?
@@sungjinwoo8357 Absolutely not
Yeah bro we just watched the video, think we can figure out what's happening
This guy is such an artist in music. Props to him
Being a drummer myself you were a bit off but to the naked ear sounds great love it man 😂❤
I'm not a drummer but I heard him using the wrong cymbals, the beat is still good tho
@@ky1ewithsty1eDoesn't really matter which cymbal you use, just not too large.
I think what he meant was that he couldn't stay in the right tempo, and left out some tremolos
Also the guitar loop isn't perfect he missed a part but it's no big deal still sounds cool
Lil sloppy but it’s a pretty quick double bass if you ain’t doing that all the time. We all see him tensing up but still 🤘🤘
@@MrScarf-zm9ihyeah the end is probably because the low notes are unreachable because he doesnt have an 8 string guitar because that’s what Kevin played on in the original tracks
Anyone who has played guitar for even a short amount of time realizes how easy the thing he did was. He didn't even loop the riff correctly.
Yet nobody’s aware of how shit it is
Very true unfortunately
Yeah people are impressed too easily by this it's not even that hard to play
His playing isn’t impressive, but as someone who plays, the hard part is figuring it out all by ear. The drumming is out of time too. But props for being able to play a song after hearing it once (assuming there’s no major editing)
Yup i agree it is pretty easy i learned it when i was like 13 its not too difficult
Honestly nothing more hype then getting to a round you know you aren’t gonna make it through and playing 115. Miss those days.
Personal metal musician opinion; you gave the dude a SUPER easy song. The hardest part would be the drums, and any metal musician who's coordinated enough to use a double kick pedal couple play that. The song was written to be a 30 sec sound byte for CoD, not a true feat of musicianship. That is why buddy killed it out of the gate. He's actually a musician.
oh yeah you're definitely a metalhead, no question
@@sorcererCermet yep
It wasn't a 30 sec sound byte. It's a full song that plays lol
@@fabianrodriguez2601 We're actually both correct here on technicalities. While it was a full song that played for Zombies back in the day, it was more recently used as a 30 sec sound byte for the mosh pit emote in BO4. That being said, this is the exact clip of the mosh pit emote, because there are not any vocals on the track whatsoever. Sorry I didn't include the origin story of the song. Most people wouldn't even know that song is from CoD because not everyone had the same experiences that a good majority of gamers may have had.
I guarantee you 90% of drummers could not play thus accurate with out extensive double kick practice. Opinion of a metal drummer of over 20 years
Mans got that taste in both music and video games
I'm getting my ps3 from my moms place and you already know it's finna go down
One thing ive learned while playing guitar even only for a year is that alot of the songs that sound hard are actually probably easy
Guitarists: remember this song impresses everybody
I haven’t had a crack at it in a year or so but if remember it’s super easy isn’t it?
@@ThomasAndrew it is
Very very easy song to do yeah
Yup it is fairly easy. I think the only semi hard Black Ops Zombies song on guitar might be Archangel because of that intro being trem picked like a Suffocation song and without proper stamina it can be painful, however for a drummer if you also aren’t used to pretty technical blasting and double bass speed it can be pretty difficult.
This is about 60 percent less difficult than people think. Btw those boss 505's are fire. I love mine.
I fucking love that song so much. Such a head banger and brings back great memories
