This WBC was definitely the most exciting ever! I was watching the games at the Tokyo Dome and was captivated by the passionate play of the Czech players.
Agreed, I’m glad Japan won though, they do the small things and play the right way. USA had Mookie betts on 1st with no outs and didn’t try to steal, arrenado got a single that sent him to 3rd, if he had stole they would have scored.
The last few games of the tournament were so amazing and instant classics. What a way to bring it back after the COVID affected seasons that kept it from happening when it was scheduled to. Japan was dominant the entire way💪🏻
I like this tournament. It's like a world cup of baseball. But I think what makes it more exciting is that players don't look like they are on vacation they play like if it was the best thing ever, I just love how they take this tournament serious and that to me makes it more exciting. Congratulations Japan, by the way I am Hispanic and was hoping for team Mexico 🇲🇽 or team USA 🇺🇸 to be champions 🏆 this year.
It was amazing, and team Mexico and USA played great. Plus that ending with Trout vs Ohtani was the single greatest baseball moment I have ever watched. Side note, I'm from Tampa so LOVED watching Randy tear it up for team Mexico.
I'm a sports fan in general but I gotta say that Soccer is my main thing, but the WBC man.. Almost had me AS excited as the World Cup can do. That says alot about how good this tournament is/was/will continue to grow on to be. Can't wait for the next one, hopefully Canada will get one step closer to the finals. Also, BIIIG shout out to the fans in crowds for making this event.. complete really (Those Taiwanese fans having the time of their lives, it's just great to see)
Yeah as an American hoping that Canada can churn out some high level talent over the next several years to give them a boost, cause off the top of my head the only Canadian player I could think of is Joey Votto.
This tournament I feel revived baseball for many people. Myself included. Before I never gave a hoot about baseball accept for when playoffs time rolled around but this year I think I will be checking up on the scores way more often, and likely watching a few games too.

I absolutely loved ❤ watching many of the GAMES. There were so many excellent plays…I was so impressed with MEXICO 🇲🇽 and Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 too. My COUNTRIES TEAM USA had some exceptional plays as expected. The C Republic was also AMAZING to watch. Please do this more because it’s AMAZING to just watch BASEBALL with this much excitement and fans supporting each COUNTRY.

In the past, Japan has played game as small ball. They enjoyed bunt, stealing base, and single. But now they focused on Homerun and BB. At least in the final, Japan followed matrix better than U.S. America always gives them gift by criticizing.
in reality they still play oldschool ball ... the way we Hawaiians taught them 'Wally Yonamine style'.. we taught them well ... first by helping start their Pro Leagues in '36 with our HI stud Bozo Wakabayashi, then later with Bozo and Lefty ODoul after the War, then Wally showed them the JackieR-WallyY style ball that you still see today ...
