It's ok to disagree/have different opinion from with your idol/someone you admire. I think Dabi's simply agreeing with big chunk of stain's, but not the whole of it... Even spinner who I think is more obsessive of Stain than Dabi was end up preferring Shigaraki more than Stain..
personally: that’s why he’s a fun character because his development is just something abnormal, yet realistic he used to be gentler(not gentle, he still wasn’t the best as a kid, but he was a kid, he acted like one mostly) but now he’s brutal and his reasonings are realistic yet it fascinates me how somebody could change that much (i’m obsessed with psychology, ok?)
