    Thanks for the detailed review!
It has been very helpful in confirming our choice based on other (German) tests - and the images provide a gorgeous glimpse into our next year ;)

Great review. Between this and the Pello, which should I choose? The toddler I am purchasing for is in the 90% (very tall) for height, but average weight. Please advise.

The Pello is a taller and heavier bike. Our very tall toddler used the woom 1 from 18 months onward and was a good fit for about a year. The Pello she could ride longer because its frame is larger and the seat height is taller. How old is the toddler?

Would you say a child wearing 2T at 26 months will outgrow this quickly? I want to get the Pello but it's out of stock and don't know if this is a good alternative because of the size. Thanks for your work!

      Hi Franc -
The woom 1 is the smallest balance bike on the US market. My daughter outgrew this bike at about 2.5 years old, but she was VERY tall for her height. I have a friend with an equally tall son who is still riding his at 3 years old. All that to say, yes, it will be outgrown more quickly than most, but balance bikes can still be use if a child is technically too tall.
If you're looking for something with an air tire and handbrake that is a bit taller, you could look at the Frog Tadpole, which is shipping in June. This bike may currently be a bit too tall for your child. The FirstBike is another option you could look at if you also purchased the lowering kit.
Bike inventory is so frustrating right now, I'm sorry!

Great review! Thanks! We are about to buy this one (Woom1) for our 1.9 y.o. daughter. But we also compare it with Moustache Mercredi 12. Please advise us with your expertise )

We have never seen the Mercredi in person, but were able to look it up online. The biggest differences between the woom 1 and that bike are:
      1. The woom 1 has a handbrake, the Mercredi does not.
      2. The woom 1 is considerably smaller. It has a minimum seat height of about 10" while the Mecredi's minimum seat height is 13.4".
We unfortunately can't speak to performance differences as we've only tested the woom 1.
