Getting a bit scandalous with Tiny’s calf exposure lol 😆 love how much personality you’ve put into your place! With all those plants the air would be crisp as heck you basically live in a national park
Hahahaha I laughed out loud at this one. Calves too scandalous for my channel. Hahaha and between our air purifying curtains and plants it is mighty crispy up in here 😂
In the majority of homes in the US, the bathroom has the shower enclosed, so the rest of the floor stays dry. But we have bathroom slippers if we're going to use a shower that lots of other people use.
We don't have bathroom slippers in Germany, we just use slippers in Saunas and Common Pools and such! But our bathrooms are usually larger and have a shower curtain or door, so the floor usually doesn't get wet.
Tiny is literally the most supportive boyfriend I’ve ever seen even more than my own 😂 the details and nuances about Sara he understands and remembers is such a rare trait. You can really, wholesomely feel how much he adores her. Can’t even imagine losing someone that I loved that whole-heartedly it’s truly so heartbreaking.
Just came across your channel by chance and I'm happier for it today. I'll think of you Sara and your bright personality whenever I'm down. Today I hope you know that you made me smile and laugh.
You're so pretty Sara. We will miss your bubbly personality. But I know you're in a good place. All these videos will remind us about you. The way you embraced the Korean culture is so amazing. 😆☺️ your apartment is so cute! In the US bathroom slippers aren’t common in regular homes but are mainly used in public showering spaces (college showers or gym showers)!
My parents are Chinese and we have slippers for everywhere in the house. Upstairs bedroom slippers, downstairs slippers, kitchen slippers, backyard slippers, garage slippers... xD

I just find out your channel and I think you are literally lovely and cheerful person. Your energy make me feel better. I love it, your home is a real home in my opinion, little but useful, there is nothing unnecessary things. And the colors... So soft and restful for living, perfect theme. By the way we use bathroom slippers in Turkey, it's really common here. 😅 Love you guys! And I wish you success 💜 ✌🏻
Not at home for bathroom slippers, but at a pool absolutely! Avoided getting an earring in my foot many times wearing sandals at the pool from dropped ones!
M glad I could see the busted again.. :) that was my first video of sara..!!! N that cute gomawo while tiny praises her keeping the storage so clean... Why are they so cuteeeee...!!!
I can see how similar things Bulgaria and Korea have. Every time when Sara says they don't have something abroad my thought was that we have it in Bulgaria, the boiler that you need to turn on by yourself, slippers in the house, in the bathroom, everything. :)
If the shower is enclosed we don't have to use bathroom slippers though just regular (house) slippers and then step into the bath/shower cabin. Or is it just me..? 🤔
Your home is so neat and tidy! I'm trying to get my place more organized, so yours is very inspirational. Can confirm that there are no bathroom slippers in the US either, unless you are using a locker-room bathroom (and you have to bring your own).
OMG!!! Even u don't watch TV!! It's been 15 years since we don't have a TV n when someone gets to know they just can't digest it n are shocked.. they keep asking how do we live without a TV! M glad we share something similar.. We have the controlling knob on the pipe and also the cylinder here in India.. induction is too slow.. it's used only as portable ones when u go somewhere without gas cylinder.. Normally ppl have 4 burner stove .. three are quite few .. but 3 is more comfortable as we have it horizontally instead of in a box.. maybe cos we have space? Like the whole of dining room n kitchen put together constitutes a small kitchen here .. n yet ppl have a seperate store room altogether..
I just moved to Seoul last week and learned the hard way that the boilers have to be turned on before using the shower haha this video was helpful for me to understand better how to use my space! It’s so different from my place in the US. Thank you 🙏
Ah, I think we have “on-demand water heaters” here in the US, but they’re not as common from what I’ve heard. I think that’s the type of boiler you have. Also, the fuse box in my house is sooooo ugly; yours is beautiful 😂
I love how you decorated and the use of space! So wonderful! I would say in the US you only wear ‘bathroom’ slippers when you’re using a public shower - or I know people who do when they go to others houses. Depends on how comfortable you are going barefoot in someone else’s shower.
yes we do wear slippers at home, and for bathroom, we use different slipper, i'd say it's an asian culture really. I'm a fan of indoor plants, they brighten up any rooms, one thing i noticed are your bamboo plants, never knew it could grow so tall! i bought one from ikea, it has now reached just 1 ft. i'll have to change the vase soon! btw, love your small but cosy apt :) n yes i was thinking to buy that same exact sofa bed from Ikea too lol.
Most people in the Netherlands don't use slippers in their own bathrooms, and we don't have boilers like that either. The only times I've worn slippers like that was at gym/spa showers.
I just love you two!! You make great videos. I always learn so much about life in Korea from you. I make lots of mental notes for when I will get to travel there in the future. Thank you for all your hard work in putting this together. Keep making videos, please!!
Nope, no bathroom slippers in the States. The bathrooms are actually set up differently. So the shower area is set off to the side and is constructed so no water gets out of the shower or tub area. If you have a bathtub, you step out of it to the main bathroom area. And if there is just a shower area, then there is a small lip on the bottom of the shower that comes up so water doesn't get everywhere. And we have shower curtains to block water from going everywhere. Other than that, bathrooms are the same with the tile and sinks and whatnot. ❤😎
Very pretty! I think you've both decorated well and made very good use of the space you have. In college we wore bathroom slippers (USA-NY) but that's because it was a shared space and more of a wet room (all tile and not great water resistant shower curtains), but at home we don't.
You can easily put a shower curtain for when you take a bath so the entire room doesn't get wet. I see that a lot in cheaper hotels where they have smaller bathrooms

The plants, the aesthetics, the coziness! I love the movie room so much
Ah, I think we have “on-demand water heaters” here in the US, but they’re not as common from what I’ve heard. I think that’s the type of boiler you have.
Also, the fuse box in my house is sooooo ugly; yours is beautiful 😂
That parrot poster is so cute. I had a blue-fronted amazon, and he was the absolute best... to me. To other people? Not so much.
I love how you decorated and the use of space! So wonderful! I would say in the US you only wear ‘bathroom’ slippers when you’re using a public shower - or I know people who do when they go to others houses. Depends on how comfortable you are going barefoot in someone else’s shower.
May I ask where you got the LED clock light in your bedroom?
the whole place feels so comfy and you guys took advantage of every part of the house so it’s amazing!
I missed u.
Seriously, cause you, i want to learn korea language again! Thanks for motivation me..
Enjoyed watching you guys. Very nice place and well planned setup. No bathroom slippers here in the States.
Hi!! First!! Love you HojiSara!!
Hi!! First!! Love you HojiSara!!
I love that you have so many plants in your place. The plants remained me of Queensland. Ps I’m form Melbourne :)
yes we do wear slippers at home, and for bathroom, we use different slipper, i'd say it's an asian culture really.
I love your videos! Great content and perfect for my Korean level so it's fun to follow along with your conversations
Love the cozy energy of your place.
Very pretty! I think you've both decorated well and made very good use of the space you have. In college we wore bathroom slippers (USA-NY) but that's because it was a shared space and more of a wet room (all tile and not great water resistant shower curtains), but at home we don't.
In Norway we don't use slippers in the bathroom since the showers are separated so the floor doesn't get wet :)
You can easily put a shower curtain for when you take a bath so the entire room doesn't get wet. I see that a lot in cheaper hotels where they have smaller bathrooms
