I mean thanks to me loving Sharingan and Byakugan that I didn't forget it, Boruto author does certainly forget about it. Too many Ninjutsu nowadays with big and flashy show entrances.

If you HAD to nerf him, do it in a way that doesn't do him disservice. Naruto's loss of Kurama albeit needed more buildup and more of an immediate aftermath, but it's still way better than the disrespect they showed to Sasuke.
It feels that way, but Sasuke’s Rinnegan came in clutch many times against Isshiki and even Momoshiki.

Baryon mode didnt even get that big explosion/ destruction to show how powerful it is.

This is what should have happened, but Kishimoto has no idea what he's doing anymore. The Kaguya retcon is the worst retcon in anime history and forced a next generation series focusing on the Otsutsuki. Madara was the big bad in all of Naruto and he ruined it. Without that retcon, all we needed were like 10 Shippuden episodes where they're grown up and Naruto is the Hokage.

Lol no. Sasuke had his sharingan deactivated, the only thing he relied on when it comes to his reaction speed. Borushiki, on the other hand, was travelling at a speed FTE (Faster than eye) and Sasuke only noticed it a second before it hits his eye.

I don't understand how Sasuke is supposedly "blitzed" by Momoshiki possessing Boruto's child body, when Sasuke made an absolute fool of ACTUAL Momoshiki with that teleporting.
"Caught off guard" or some shit. They really did our boy dirty with that. Sasuke has responded to near-instant attacks with his teleportation, just fine. They really just needed to nerf him to bring him in line with nerfed Naruto and didn't think too hard about the "how".
SUPPOSEDLY Sasuke's chakra was low, so he couldn't respond to much at the time...SUPPOSEDLY.

Not to mention putting dude in a planetary devastation and then nuking the planetary devastation itself to hit him with the impact rather than the energy. And how does a dude that absorbs chakra run out of chakra? Not to mention self healing. I could go on. Show me some ninja storm 4 shit, and then have jigen STILL win. Then I will be inpressed.

I love how the anime emphasizes it, too. Sasuke literally has time to turn and watch the knife coming for ages and never even twitches. It would be slightly more understandable if he was completely blindsided, but he sees it and just doesn't do anything, when one of the sharingans main powers is hyper-increased reaction time. Lmao I'd use his chakra instead because adult saskue way stronger than teenage saskue but for some reason the writers made him inconsistent due to not knowing just how much fuckin chakra the rinnegan is really supposed to take. Mans fought fused momo after teleporting multiple people to another dimension and had enough chakra go brawl but after that if he teleports now he just has no stamina at all. And the sad part is even if he's out of chakra Naruto can just give him but he never does 🥲
I wonder why they never just straight up Amaterasu the Planetary Devastation Jutsu and let the flames travel through the cracks to the center and roast the perfectly immobilized target it never hits otherwise

@@pumkin610 well, I'm theory crafting here, but isn't Amaterasu's whole deal supposed to be that the flames don't go out untless the user stops casting? If the absorption ability has it's limits, I'd think Amaterasu would be the perfect jutsu to attempt an absorption overload tactic since th flames can exist/generate elsewhere and spread "endlessly" (personal chakra limits varying) into the target.
Also, most absorption only absorbs from a specific point on a user's body (usually a hand or the eyes... Or mouth) so in theory, with Planetary Devastation holding them down, Amaterasu should be free to burn away at them from any vulnerable angle.
But that's just me overthinking things again lol

I like how none of that was anything he isn’t capable of 🤣 though admittedly he’d been being stomped on by Isshiki the whole fight so he was worn down and figured the fight was over.
This the same dude who took a big nap to awaken his new eyes, immediately went to fight Snake Kabuto, then revived Orichimaru and took a big lap to Konoha, then doubled back to the war site to duke it out with Obito/Madara as they power up 30 times, then dies but then gets revived as Jesus #2, then dukes it out with Madara again then having to take a break and sit in his Susanno, then duke it out again except this time he's now battling a Goddess, then AFTER ALL THAT he decides he wants to duke it out with Naruto and uses almost every single tool/jutsu in his arsenal, AND THEN when he runs out of tools/most of his chakra he throws hands with Naruto and only once he uses his last bit of chakra and loses his arm- is he finally done.
So when I look at Sasuke getting beat up for a little bit, then losing his eye like THAT- it ain't it chief.

@@SK-pc8ni For the record, I think war arc Sasuke/Naruto are a little too op for my personal tastes. Wasn't a big fan of how the show became a nuke-fest and battling gods.
So I'm not even a big fan of "Oh now let's do a show with Naruto's son and this time the bad guys are even stronger god-like characters".
The show literally just turns into dbz during the war arc through now. It's literally "Oh the good guys can't beat the current bad guys, so we'll make Boruto and his friends even stronger god-tier modes to win".

The best way to nerf Naruto and Sasuke would've been after kurama's death. Sasuke would bring up the possibility of reviving kurama using his rinnegan abilities. The drawback being that his rinnegan would be put on a super long cool down and he won't be able to use it for a long time. Kurama will be revived as an infant and less powerful than his original form. This way Naruto/kurama and Sasuke/rinnegan are temporarily nerfed and allows the other boruto characters to shine.

Perfect ending. Instead they created this pile of shit boruto. And how is sasuke reacting to an otsutsuki erasing their charkra, fast enough that sasuke can't react to, caught completley off guard, and is heavily battered because of the huge fight that just took place.

Danzo used Izanagi..one of the strongest jutsus in Uchiha history to escape death to take Shisuis eye and he still couldn't get both of them..Madara is a god among shinobi that solo'd 5 Kage low difficulty. 10 tails Madara taking Kakashis eye can't be compared to this..a better comparison would be if Kakashi somehow managed to take 10 tail Madaras eye..and thats madness. The problem I have with Boruto is that it's supposed to be the next generations, but they're giving them problems only Sasuke and Naruto can deal with. And then blatantly shitting on Naruto and Sasukes past character developments and feats to make the other characters relevant. Just give Boruto characters problems that they can deal with.
