Thank you for this simple rule explanation! Ans I’m very impressed at your skills in making a computerized version of this game , it definitely made it easier to read and see. Once again good looking out for this game , it’s SUCH a great game , once you get through the tutorial of course . Subscribed

Even though I like to play medium heavy games, I found this game to be really hard to get into. Rules are confusing and overwhelming... watched few playthroughs and tutorials but only after this video i believe i understood it and that I am ready to teach it to someone else.
    Thank you!

Under Gift Shop: Covering Sales, on page 15: The last sentence says "If you don't have enough works to cover ALL your sales of a type, none of them are considered covered." At 29:30 or so in the video, your caption contradicts this, saying that the cover rule doesn't apply to sales like it does for helpers. Is this some sort of errata?

If you want to see the final, most up-to-date version of the rules presentation, please download version 1.21 from www.boardgamegeek.com/filepage/138006/how-play-mottainai.
    Enjoy!

1:30:25 I think you could hire monk and then you would get additional helper action right away which would then allow you to hire clerk. You could also do same thing for red in very next action.

Hello - I would be interested in how you implemented the game and if you have any ambitions into turning it into an app.

Programmed it in VB6, an oldie buy goodie programming language. It won't ever be an app, however, simply because of the copyright issues involved. And right now, it doesn't play against you either!. Subscribe to my channel, and you can see all the games I program on my computer.

Who bangs on a desk while recording a video? Terrible.
