Heh...I still have my original _metal_ 3-in-1 oiler, too. That's how often I've used it since 1972... didn't even realize they'd switched to plastic until I just happened to glance at it on the shelf at a hardware store a few years ago...
Older Precision with a maple neck & roundwounds- priceless! Great story about Remembrance Day and your family's service, thank you Dave. Veterans / Armistice Day in the States was very special to my Dad, who fought in Korea and was indelibly affected by his service. Peace.
I saw the Killer Dwarfs in way back when at a sh*thole club near Albany, New Yorkastan and to this day they are one of the best live bands I have ever seen!!
