Ten years of this song…it’s currently my second favorite song right behind Snowblind by Au5. I first heard it on a game on Roblox called The CrusheR three years ago, and man…that game, along with Epic Minigames, has introduced me to so many incredible songs that I still enjoy listening to today. The journey these songs have taken me on has been such an incredible experience, and of course, this song was a big part of it. The first time I heard this song, I didn’t hear the beginning because it started at the buildup at 0:26 and into the drop. By the way, I don’t know what to call the sound in the first pat of the drop, but it’s ONE OF THE COOLEST THINGS I’VE EVER HEARD!!!! Depending on how long the game was, I’d sometimes be able to hear the part from the beginning at 1:30, and it just gave me a feeling of wanting to know what would happen next. Then, a few months later, I listened to the full song right here, and it did not disappoint! Also, the ending gave me that same feeling but even stronger than in the pre-drop sections. This song, to say the least, is incredible. Thank you to Pegboard Nerds for this amazing song, and also to Monstercat, because the music you put on your channel has been some of the greatest music I’ve ever been exposed to. Ever. No I think you misunderstand. There is a swing vibe from 2:11 to 2:26 then it goes back to normal. I also recall thinking about it in Droptek's remix of We Are One. I know you guys want to pretend to be smart for pointing out the obvious, but come on. Of course it is the second drop. I was referring to the structural change in the beat and if you actually paid attention to the song you would have picked up on that.
Firrend The song is more or less just getting closer to half time. And there is very little noise on the offbeat which gives it that swing feel. Also the hats hit only on the offbeat which gives it a very tap-footing feel. Know what I mean?
Firrend It's a rhythm break, or commonly known just as a break. It's like a breakdown, but it's a complete contrast in comparison to a heavier continuation. 'Breaks' is a genre built around this concept. Hope this helps ^^

No I think you misunderstand. There is a swing vibe from 2:11 to 2:26 then it goes back to normal. I also recall thinking about it in Droptek's remix of We Are One.
I know you guys want to pretend to be smart for pointing out the obvious, but come on. Of course it is the second drop. I was referring to the structural change in the beat and if you actually paid attention to the song you would have picked up on that.
Firrend The song is more or less just getting closer to half time. And there is very little noise on the offbeat which gives it that swing feel. Also the hats hit only on the offbeat which gives it a very tap-footing feel. Know what I mean?
