I got the 101 essays for Christmas and I have read some of it....it is generic tiktok reel life coach advice. I didn’t find anything in it interesting so far but will keep reading. There’s one essay I have bookmarked called ‘16 questions that will show you who you are’...but the rest of it is meh. Emma read Nightwood by Djuna Barnes... existential crisis and angsty sapphics. Short enough for us dyslexic darlings too. Read it!

you're so right about Seven Husbands, one of the twists at the end undermined one of the best things TJR set up at the beginning of the story in a really amateurish way and it so could have been better
So, definitely not upset. I'd be more than happy to explain the differences between Scotch, Bourbon and Whiskey. Scotch is whisky made is scotland. Whiskey spelt with an E is whisky that's not made in Scotland, notably Irish Whiskey this was used as a marketing differentiator. Bourbon is whiskey made in America ( i don't remember which state) from rye that comes from corn. Basically your mum's right it's the geographical location and the ingredients used, in Scotland and Ireland whiskey/whisky is made from malted barley while in the US it's made from corn.

However, that does not necessarily mean that I actually read all of them. I kind of want to buy some more. But, I've promised myself that I would not purchase any more, until I've read at least 9-10 of the ones I already have. So, I was wondering whether you'd like to do a challenge like this one?
