Lisa going her trip after Lois passed was probably wonderful for her in an important way. If my momma passed she would be so disappointed if I didn’t keep going and keep being happy after. I understand her decision completely.

Its actually really sweet to see how Rinna's mom, even in her passing, really grounds her. Rinna can be a lot sometimes, but you really see it in her face how she's processing all of it. I feel a lot of empathy for her.

If the Doctors wife knows her husband committed medical malpractice and didn’t say anything and helped him cover it up- then the Doctors wife pays for the crime. It’s not about wether or not Ericka was personally involved in the actual act of stealing the money- it’s about wether or not she KNEW what Tom was doing and said nothing because she was benefiting.

It makes me think of the movie Devil’s Advocate. The wife knew her lawyer husband was getting criminals off the hook. Which made his earnings blood money. But that’s what lawyers do💁🏻♀️, so I’m not totally ready to place guilt on Erika just yet. Her point about doctor’s wives not being responsible for their husband’s patients was spot on.

Some are salaried, Senior partners plus they might bonuses and commission from the settlement money. Tom Girardi is one of the best litigators so if your husband is making money like that, it’s expected. EJ wouldn’t know nor I don’t blame her for not asking. I’d understand if he was making like $60K then started pulling in millions outta nowhere. Yes she bought stuff with the victim’s money but prove she knew it was obtained illegally. They can’t make her testify against him bc of spousal privilege. All the government can do is seize their assets. The victims can sue her but again- they’ll have to prove she knew what Tom was doing. To be held criminally liable, EJ would have to be involved in committing a crime continuing the fraud like money laundering, mail fraud, wire fraud, tax evasion, cooking the books, etc. My guess is that’s why she hasn’t been charged with anything is bc the government doesn’t have enough evidence against her. Do you know how many wives of criminals know their husbands are guilty but don’t say anything?
As long as they didn’t lie to the police, witness the crime, obstruct justice, aid & abet, or participate then they don’t have to report anything. Just bc they’re married doesn’t mean Tom tells her everything.
Regardless of whether or not you THINK she’s guilty, she’s innocent until proven guilty. And it doesn’t matter if Erica refuses to give up her shit to the victims. The feds can seize it, freeze her assets, garnish her wages, put liens on everything on everything she has, if need be.
Malpractice can be an accident. Fraud generally isn't. I'm not exactly sure how the spouse of a docor can help cover up malpractice. Erika's analogy was dumb...no need to try analyze it further....lol

Erika kind of haz a point with the doctor reference. If a doctor was prosecuted for writing fake prescriptions no one would bring the wife into it.
But the wife can still at least have compassion and feel bad about what happened to the people affected
No she doesn't have a point because she's not just the wife of a scumbag lawyer or the wife of a malpracticing doctor, she was actively using her shell LLCs to funnel stolen money through and for tax evasion purposes. If the doctors wife was complicit with whatever scam the doctor was committing, she would be liable too. Spending money you know is stolen is just as bad as buying stolen items.
But if he was hiding money in her LLC and she knew which she obviously did, she would be. The man's profession has nothing to do w anything.
