I love it when signs are laying down like that, you can really see how big they are. About a month ago they were doing construction on the road near my house and there were the green signs that tell you the name of the road laying down and they are way bigger then you world expect!
Sebastian Steele I hear that! Call me a nerd but there are certain green or brown road signs along the Outer Banks in NC that have towns' names on them and how many miles away they are or the welcome to this town or that town sign. One year my picture taken by some of the signs including the Welcome To North Carolina sign. They are huge.
WallieB26 also I have a little street sign collecting in my room, I have one of those only signs with the arrows that tell you which lane goes where and it's pretty big, and what's funny is it was on the ground (it fell off the pole) we took it about 6 or 7 years ago and the city has yet to put another one on the pole to this day!! We took the sign because it was damaged and it was either going to be left there or scrapped so I decided to take it.
Yeah you'd be surprised how big they are. What's more surprising is they never replaced it. I have a traffic light and a stop sign which I found at an estate sale years ago for pennies of what they're worth. the stop barely fit in the trunk of my 83 Cutlass I used to have. AND THAT WAS A BIG CAR! The traffic light is also huge and took up the entire back seat when I brought it home.
Another one nearby my home. You know more than me! I didn't know it closed in 2007. It was another gas station I only went to once or twice. I think we just had too many gas stations. And most are high capacity gas stations with tons of pumps these days. This is another commercially dead zone. The Lowblaws that became a Quality Markets nearby this place also was dead most of the time and closed years ago.
Looks like another one of those, buy it, fix it up a bit, then flip it! A lot of them end up spending more money than they thought, can't get financing to finish, then hope some sucker will buy it from them!

Gore n Peach is what it looks like... hmmm, Yeah West 12th ok. I don't get over that way much.
Yes! I drove by there a few weeks ago and saw it has since been repurposed and become a new business!

There's a abandoned Martins and Golf Galaxy not to far from my area btw it was pretty recent.
JM Studios Nice. I'm surprised to hear about Golf Galaxy. We have one in Robinson Township outside of Pittsburgh that does well.
Btw Golf Galaxy was relocating.
Oh ok. Gotcha!
That was an old Country Fair Gas station.
Chris Lemaster Wow. I would never have guessed. I'm basing that off the fact they almost all have the barn style buildings. Thanks for the info!
