Same here, I went from skinny-fat to jacked and it made a huge difference. It didn’t even take much exercise, I just had to balance my hormones and increase my protein intake. The same thing works for women… yes you want to be slender, but you also want to look curvy, healthy and fit. You get that from muscle (which women disproportionately accumulate on their lower body) which means hormone balance and more protein (most people don’t get enough). I even had a girlfriend who needed low-dose testosterone… it actually made her look MORE feminine, by accentuating her curves.
But for most people, all you need is a healthy lifestyle and more protein - eat 0.75-1.0 grams of protein per pound of body weight each day. It helps to eat at least 30 grams of protein at each meal and to spread it out throughout the day. I just buy a big tub of whey and make myself a whey drink with every meal or snack I have at home. There’s even vegan protein drinks, so anyone can do this.
Protein also helps burn fat, through multiple mechanisms… it’s the easiest thing no one seems to do.

"Good eating habits take much of the pressure off of exercise and you have to work out so much less to see results" - Mina Irfan (Contained in Love)
I would not have believed this to be true until I changed my way of eating. I also didn't take heed to the advice given of de-stressing as much as possible until over this past summer. I went in too hard with my workouts over the summer, gained stress weight, and didn't allow myself proper sleep. Now I'm sleeping more, enjoying slow walking for 3-5 hours a day (depending on my energy levels), tribal bellydance, and lighter weights. Now the excess weight & bloat is quickly falling off again while doing Carnivore w/fruit & sometimes rice. Looking to infuse more joy & pleasure into my daily movements by trying out different short but fun 10-20 minute workouts to see what my body likes best.

I’m 28 and just left a bad relationship, I’ve been focusing on gym and health and looking better, everyone is telling me I’m getting skinnier and I love it, I’ve never been overweight but I’m going the extra mile to be even more snatched, nobody seems to care about their health around me, my sister is overweight, and all of my friends too. Once I finally lost most of the weight (75lbs) it’s like I was in a whole new world all my family that let me be overweight as a kid treated me soo differently. It took 5 days for the effects to go away and now I’m never EVER having it again and I’m low carb and I’m loosing weight so fast. My priority for food is now for the nutrition value and what my body gets out of it and I have never felt better 🥹 I was vegetarian and now I’m pescatarian + low carb

Someone else would literally act like they don't notice the attractive one, and compliment the non attractive person. And they would do it with such venom as if to say 'Oh so you think you're Pretty? I'll make you feel less pretty by complimenting your friend only'.

I love Mina's work but I have to say I also had severe autoimmune systems at a young age and I have been gluten free, vegetarian for 30 plus years and it's been amazing! I've been vegan for a few years and feel really good. I eat no processed foods, mostly fruits and vegetables, plenty of good protein and fats, and a moderate amount of whole grains. Most people can't believe my age (51) and I have effortlessly maintained my ideal weight for 30 years under 139 pounds and I'm 5'8". With both my 10 pound babies I was back at my ideal weight within 8 weeks or so. I also take joy in eating in a way that is positive for animals' lives and for the planet! To me I feel very in my feminine and love energy to eat in a way that shows love for all living beings and Mother Earth. Many ancient world religions emphasize the need to have love for animals and to avoid eating or killing them unnecessarily.

@@a.2102 Super easy! I do a protein smoothie most morning (Garden of Life Sport Protein) - that's over 30g of protein. I also usually eat a bagel made with millet flour or oatmeal. So I start the day with about 35 g of protein. Then I just eat balanced meals with whole foods - salad with hummus, nuts, etc. or sandwich with cooked tofu and veggies, high protein pasta with veggies, rice and beans. If I want really extra protein I take amino acids. But pretty much whole foods have a good bit of protein as long as you incorporate beans, nuts, whole grains, quinoa, things like that.

I'm 5'3 and my heaviest weight was 172 lb. I lost 32 lbs in 4 months this year by doing a mix of low carb/ keto/ carnivore. We are creatures of habit, so breaking away from my old eating habits was a mental challenge at first. What helped me stick to the new meal plan was making a list of all of the fruits and vegetables I enjoyed (or that my palate could tolerate enough), and then look up recipes with the ingredients I listed.

    • @jojolie9030

Additionally, I try to make as many things from scratch when my schedule allows. However, many times, I find myself needing to make healthy meals in under 20 mins. What has helped me meal prep quicker is buying precut veggies. My local grocery store sells mixed precut raw veggies. Cauliflower rice takes me about 2 mins in the food processor, but if I don't want to spend extra time cleaning up the mess, I just buy the frozen cauliflower rice. Aldi sells mango salsa and pre-made salsa mixes etc. My diet mainly consists of a protein (ie. Salmon, chicken breast, ground turkey) veggies as my carb (i.e., cauliflower rice, Kale, spring mix, red cabbage, cucumbers etc) and a healthy fat (Avocado, olive oil, small serving of nuts).

I still eat those kind of foods, but seldomly since I'm still trying to lose another 15 lbs. Before, I used to eat a lot of bread and rice..Basically every meal consisted of a heavy carb and my weight shot up. I know that everyone's body works differently, but I hope I was able to help in some way. Best of luck! You got this

I love that you're talking about this! I went through my own weight loss journey after struggling with my weight since childhood. I love learning about you because I relate to you a lot. I'm 5'1, my birthday is also in November (we're both Sagittarius) which explains that go-getter attitude you have! And the most I weighted in my mid 20's was 180. I never thought I'd lose the weight. In fact, I gave up completely and shifted my mindset. I decided I needed to love myself as I was, which was wayyy harder than it sounded. Out of love I had to ask myself if this was healthy for me. If I love myself, don't I deserve to get my blood flowing and go for walks? I used to hate myself and thought, well, I'm already fat, this meal doesn't matter. And I had to stop that.
Thank you for all the information! There's a lot I still hadn't learned about nutrition that you included here. Thank you!

Ive been curvy/thick and i get looks and attention but when im snatched i get way more looks from a broader group of men. Maybe I’ll try a hybrid of keto/carnivore/lion and see how that goes. I have chronic headaches (nearly every day) and even though sleep is a part of it, I wasn’t sleeping any better on the lion diet but felt way better!!!! Not a single bad headache that whole week. 🥳 Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us!!! Sometimes I find limitations with Mina teachings, sure this is working for her and for the people who might be interested. Also, I agree with most of the things she said.
You create your reality or not, there is no one way fitting for all people. You cannot wait to loose weight to attract good people, opportunities, love in your life.
Universe cannot defy your vibration! I have seen people doing good on carbs, then there are people opposite on it, there is a contradiction to everything.
You decide what you want and adjust your beliefs.
To me restricting any food group is not a freedom. End of the what works for you, what do you really want?

She literally gave you like 6 different diets to try. Do what works for you. I have to have carbs for proper brain 🧠 functioning. However I limit it to a cup when I eat it with other food groups. If I want a lot of fruit I eat them alone with no other foods.

@@AmaLoveGoddessTV sorry I don’t agree with you, I have seen people manifesting what they want even with the “perceived limitation” . I have seen people thriving and curing with different diet changes and just with mediation.
“How” you manifest your desire is depends on your beliefs.
If you think looking good is the way to get treated well then that what you experience in life. But look around is it really true, I don’t treat people based on their looks but their mind, thought process or how they treat me and I am sure there are many like me. There is no one solution, tool, diet, philosophy that works for all. You can choose what words and explanation works for you and leave the rest.

This is so true! When I was under 20 (in the nineties) I liked to wear baggy clothes and had a chubby face (like Gigi Hadid). People commented negatively all the time, boys called me „fat pig“.
My height and weight at that time was around 174cm/62kg… not fat at all!
By the age of 20 I lost some weight (intentionally), maybe around 3kg. I started to wear fitted clothes, my cheeks didn’t look chubby anymore….
From that moment I received queen treatment, a totally different experience!

Fruit is seasonal only in the north. I am from North so yes I am used to fruit being available only in summer/autumn, but now I live in Turkey and here are also winter fruit like oranges, mandarins, pomegranates, persimmons etc.
Humans originate from the warmer climates and in warm climates fruit grows year round.

Remember to use discernment when listening to just one person's opinion. There are nearly no known negative side effects from eating plant based where as there are multiple case studies about the dangers of Paleo and keto diets on the human body. I'm amazed Mina cured her inflammatory disease whilst still eating red meat that is known carcinogen and other meats that have been proven to spike inflammation and contain excess cholesterol. I know it's her truth and worked for her but some of the information she is spreading could be fatal to others 💔

I LOVE Mina and her content but I am vegan whole plant based organic since 8 and I feel great, happy, healthy, fit sexy and with a lot of energy in my 40's and I look like 25. I have studies in nutrition and I am a plant based chef since 2005. I dont consume gluten, sugar, process foods, cafeine, industrial beverages, kombucha, alcohol, drugs, nor medicines, so I have optimal health and I exercise at least 20-30 minutes every day. I share my point of view because I love Mina but I dont think a carnivore diet is the BEST diet according to science and we have a lot of evidence now. Mina was already sick when she started her healing process trying different diets, so please be careful with the fuel you choose. Lots of LOVE ladies! ❤

I eat chicken sometimes, and I'm in perfect shape and excellent health. I have trouble with red meat, so I never eat it. I used to live with a fat vegan, so I know the pitfalls well. When you get away from whole foods of any type, that's the issue. The other stuff you cut out is definitely helping because vegan alone with the wrong foods can be a trainwreck. ❤

    • @HolisticManifesting
      @HolisticManifesting 10 місяців тому +1

Also, there is no one best diet for anyone. Science can't prove that without having access to everyone's body. My ex had many issues on the vegan diet and I had none. Different strokes but healthy whole food is good for everyone. And even though I liked the vegan diet, I never suggested other people needed it too. ❤

Been getting so down about it but this helped me get back on track and clean my house up (slowly) as well as clean out my fridge and plan some healthy meals.
I’m the same with working out, it’s my zen time. Also intermittent fasting is the only thing that works for me. I’ve done countless programs with coaches and I just can’t eat that much and that often. My results are so much slower that way.

It is. It’s crazy. The comments I get on my body are insane. I have a bigger bottom and the comments I get from that ALONE.. it’s like my whole bottom is a topic.. from women to men making comments about it. I don’t even think it’s that big, but it’s big enough for it to always be a topic of conversation. HOW IS YOUR BUTT SO BIG, YOU HAVE A HUGE BUTT.. etc, etc 🙄.. and this isn’t me bragging by any means.. it’s just crazy how female’s bodies are picked apart and commented on. At least for me and my experience. It upsets me that people feel they can pick on my body and what they like, what they don’t, what I need to change, how big my butt is etc. I’ve been slim and fat as you had said in your video, so I can relate to knowing how you’re treated differently based on your weight/figure. The crazy thing is I’ve been hit on quite a bit here recently, but I’m overweight.. I’ve gotten hit on more being overweight than being at my fittest.. however I was also in a relationship when I was at my fittest, so maybe my energy radiated differently vs. being single and open to meeting new people. HOWEVER, the weight I am now I am not attracting men I find attractive. I have men stopping me at the park, at the mall, at the grocery store but none that are my type or that I find attractive. It’s going to be interesting to see how it will change once I lose 20 pounds. I also didn’t have as big of a butt when I was at my slimmest because obviously your butt is fat.. unless you’ve built it in the gym and it’s pure muscle.. so me being fit and then gaining weight, genes, and getting older has caused me to grow a larger butt naturally… and once I lose the weight it’s not going to be as big as it is now. So that will also be interesting to see since it’s seems to be such a big deal to people 🙄.

I am not agree that all skinny women age better then women who have some extra weight. I have seen several women who works in the Health business/ Health care regarding nutrition , exercise etc who do not look good ( too strict with themselves, looks more drained, too skinny and trained etc, they actually looks much older then some women who also takes good care of themselves, but might have some extra weight. And I am and have always been naturally slim, I am
eating intuitively, so I am not saying this to defend overweight. I agree with having a standard for yourself, do what feels best to you. I just wanted to mention that I have seen many women being too much in this Health business so they have become fanatic about diet restrictions, exercise regimes etc and other women who have a more relaxed attitude to this, looks way better ( and younger ). I believe diet is very important, it affect us tremendously, but being too strict the other way , can also be unhealthy.
