Hey, Vez. Enjoy your posts Really like the way you are operating your business. Watching the costs you can control and watching those those you can't. Attention to planning helps you in cash flow. Seems like Prime wants you to be successful by offering courses that assist you with that, (take advantage of all help they give you). Wish you well and keep up the good work.

Ok if you leave yourself in ON you can edit your log. Before You Certify the day most important. Just put in you in off the under certify tab edit that last on entry to off. You’ll be good
You need to limit that deadheading. 400 miles is for company drivers not a lease operator. You need to be in it for you. They’re just business partners.
Prime tanker has more deadhead. As long you keep yourself around the area that’s have shipper near them you can do that reduce deadhead. Prime tanker has little shipper for pickup that’s why so much dead. 1(nj)md. (2) chanahan Illinois (3) Alabama (4) Wisconsin(5 Indiana Decatur . So if you not near those area for pickup you’ll deadhead. If you go to Tx you’ll deadhead to Alabama if you can set yourself before going to Texas with your dispatch. Plan ahead. or mostly they’ll deadhead you to Illinois if you not tight with dispatch. Basically stay in northeast and Midwest. Always let dispatch know within tankwash you be heading before you get unload . I had my share out there . I did well 3-4K take home . Finished my lease and went to owner operator. Plus my dispatch quit same week I left.
Vez, have you heard of the website called mothertruckers? It’s on UA-cam. I heard that dude talking about Prime putting in driver facing cameras on all Prime trucks. Idk if it’s just company trucks or all trucks under their insurance. Again don’t know about Owner Operators trucks. Apparently the Driver Safety Supervisor said guys were watching tv or tictok while driving.
A bro is it worth it for someone like me to come over to prime ? I already had cdl for 2 years but they said I need 25k miles with a sleeper to get my own truck. I was thinking going lease.
Your dog eyes...... while you are talking😂😂😂 cute❤

I was about to film a truck tour but I didn’t think y’all cared about that.
Does having a CDL A pay good ?
Hey bro I was thinking of going over to prime just wondering how much are you averaging a week ?
Bruh you remind me of a cousin😂 Appreciate the videos lil bro
Vez, are they putting driver cameras in all the Prime trucks? Thought I read somewhere they were doing that
This is my first time hearing about this
@@VezOnTheRoad it’s coming down from the top. It’s to limit their liability if drivers use their phone, etc.

So as of now they don’t have cameras?
Yeah I heard of that channel. Watching tv? 😂 That’s why they are putting them in 😂
Being leased, do you get paid percentage or by the miles? And if you get paid by the miles is it paid loaded and u loaded or just loaded?
As a lease operator I get paid a percentage of the load. Company drivers get paid by the mile (Loaded and unloaded).

Probably be good for you. Just go in with them
I got 16 years of driving and 2 trucks not leased to anyone
Did you just put off duty pretrip?
Sure did. I’m only required to do 1 on duty inspection.
so you sayin prime company don’t make 2k a week or more
