Nice find all this time back, @Ham3d DST. I recall using boats to drop bosses into the water for easy kills and I used the catapults like this before however for whatever reason gunpowder never crossed the mind until I stumbled upon your video. Well done!
2024:the method still works but its different. Since the knights fall in the water and then return to land Now you need to do the opposite placement 1. Place the rook and bishop on the boat instead of the knights and you also need to be on the boat (bring the fire staff with you and the paddle oar) 2. Now you need to fight the one's on the boat (being the rook and bishop) head on rather than on land because for some reason the knights can't hop on boats which is good 👍 3.Then finally,light the gun powder that you dropped on land.
Uh, two things; I mention breaking them during full moons for the sketches in this very video and no, we can't do this first attempt cause the we need those sketches first. So if you're getting said sketches on day 11 at the earliest you'll be waiting 10 more for the next New Moon after having crafted your own statues.

As long as u dont make too many knights, this is fine. Make 1 too many and the server will crash permanently. Sometimes even rollback wont work ,therefore I would back up your save file beforehand.
A boatfull of knights is fine. I have nightmare fuel and armor and swords for life. Ive done this cheese more times than i could remember. Fun and rewarding.
I hear people talking about constant deconstruction all the time and I know how good it can be however here's a good question, where the heck are you guys getting all these green gems?!?!
@@TheBeard777 Might be a kind of necropost, but still. Farming Dragonfly (every summer) and Ancient Guardian (every 20 days) is a valid source of all kind of gems.

Using jellybeans for his health recovery is very efficient, with a ratio of a jellybean to 6 living logs. On the other hand, ones can just change their characters to another Warmwood when the health get low, then only a purple gem and a moon stone are required, which is much easier to obtain than a green gem. In my humble opinion, even deconstruction on spider eggs to get papyruses is far more valuable, since the reads cannot be farmed without a special set piece.

Every 6 birchnut trees chopped after day ~70 will spawn a few Poison Birchnuts, which die in one hit from the weather pain. This is a ratio of a weather pain to 45 living logs, and it's fairly fast and cheap considering Moose/Goose is incredibly weak to frog rains.
The rotten eggs aren't hard you just have to leave like 10 almost rotten. Then use the bird to get new eggs then mix them with the almost rotten. You can speed up the time by doing this. I accidentally do this all the time with actual food.

Sure, but those things are not as viable as you think they are and I don't why you're even thinking that when you know how much damage they're dealing. You'd need tons of them.
2024 dosen’t work wasted a fuck ton of stone for no reason Edit for 2024: Figured it out but it’s extremely hard it took like 15 retries. You have to elaborately position the gunpowder to the points by which their pathfinding gets stuck. Then break the statues as usual and as soon as all of them go onto land jump back onto the boat and they cannot reach you. Then tank all the damage while on the boat and kill the rhino looking one first while getting them all stuck in one position. Then you have to hit the other teleporting nightmare until it’s about to die before it dies use the star caller staff to light the gunpowder if you time it correctly the ghost will die and the gunpowder will hit them all at once. Then you have to paddle around in the boat to get them stuck then light the gunpowder again and jump back on land they should all pile up where you jumped off at and it should explode just in time to kill them. Keep in mind they have an insanity aura that will make you insane in a few seconds and they will kill you instantly if they hit you all once especially with their range so be careful.
First of all these methods do still work as recently as a week and a half ago. I know this because the recent update requires multiple hearts and people have returned to these methods themselves. Second, the title literally says "outdated-ish".

I can't fight them because my computer is too weak to handle server with caves so i can't get star callers staff I know i can use campfire but this method is much harder
so having the knights on the boat is easier to fight the bishop and rook but harder to set up and loot. the original method of having the knights on land and bishop rook on boat is much easier to set up as well as loot afterwards. i stuffed one raft full and it took me quite some time to tightly pack the pieces and make space to row the boat out and install an anchor. max you can get on one boat is a bit over 40. if you did the knights on land however you are not limited by space at all, and all the loot ends up on land and you dont need to potentially row your boat to pick them up, you just need sufficient armor to tank the bishop and rook on the boat which is isnt even that hard

i personally use vigfrid everytime bcuz her dmg resistance and bonus dmg + her helmets are good in early game you can even heal a bit if you fail to kite

Mine ice during winter, 1 meat 3 ice makes meatballs. If you can get bee boxes you are golden. You don't have to fight deer deerclops. When he is spawning lure him away from base and forget about him.

what about using Houndius Shootius instead of catapults?
I fell like as a cool feature if you give winnowas catapults gunpowder the rocks should act like shrapnel in other works like a impact teathtrap

Burning the boat definitely doesn't work anymore. You can still glitch them out on the edge and use catapults though. Did it this evening.

Somewhat, yes. But I believe most people fight the Rook/Bishop on a boat and blow up all the Knights on land with gunpowder and a firestaff.
