It would be nice to give credit where credit is due. I don't know who came up with this idea (maybe The Playmaker, not sure tough) , but you are not the one. Even Florryworry and AbsoluteHabibi used this in the Parabellum tournament. With that said, thank you for the in depth video, it helps a lot ❤❤
Tbh I haven't found any good explanation on this while I was researching it for the vid. I've got the idea from the comments, from MakisKan[YT] specifically.
Feels like influence is a trap here. Nice buffs, but gold and manpower aren't your main limitations here I'd think. If you don't plan on annexing them anytime soon, it may be worth delaying this. Instead, exploration would give you (reasonably) rapid access to Indonesia, Madagascar and West-Africa. New World would be very funny too! Diplomatic would give you more diplomats to improve relations with non-muslim nations and take them. And Espionage iirc gives additional reasons to diplo-vassalize, which I suspect will be quite helpful. Other than that: from Playmaker and others, key in this strat is to guarantee Fadl, Anizah and Fezzan at the start. That way you can quickly DV them once you get the relations, allowing immediate access to Arabia and the Maghreb, and prevent Mamluks from getting in there. Distance being key to acceptance, but your (core?) eyalets count for it. +200 relations isn't quite needed (at most it's a "might as well"). If you plan on attacking many Sunni nations, probably better to only take +100 or +150. Between same religion, religious diplomats and alliance you already get close to another +100, with guarantees, mil acess, divert trade, gifts and influence nation all being fairly quick ways to get relations up further. +200 however does/did allow a special trick: do a false war, 100%, then "offer tribute" to release a big vassal who you've maximized all other relations with. That should reduce your AE globally, but give you -200 relations. In this case though, you can just diplo-vassalize them again since you can still easily get 190 relations. Though that sounds like the kinda thing PDX may have patched by now, so not sure :).
I know the exploit has been known for a lot of years, but I haven't found any UA-cam video on it (might have missed something). I've got the idea from the comments
You could have gotten a royal marriage with Burgundy and got the inheritance
Missed opportunity
Wasnt it cursed enough?
@@idontlikerome2744 I always convert to orthodox, get the marriage, and convert back to Islam in my ottoman runs

TheAztekMaker showed it a while ago before champworry and habiby

Pretty sure you can diplo vassalize most of the arabian peninsula right at the start with this strat
Caught watching Zlewikk
But what situation with crownlands?

I know that Influence ideas with eyelets is crazy strong, but would it be worth it to open with Espionage ideas for the +15 vassalization modifier?

I don't think I claimed it (I hope so at least). But the strat is definitely obscure, it's not really widely known

is this more powerful than wu´s strategy?
No, not really. Wu's is an easy world conquest without micro. Core eyelets don't join wars, so you'll need to manage armies yourself
