How Optimus and BumbleBee killed Michael Bay. Its no secret that the Transformers films never shy away from collatoral damage. If you ask me the director of these films, Michael Bay should have a PHD in explosions. He manages to find creative ways of doing that to different vehicles. He's also managed to squeeze himself into cameos where he falls victom to his own directive chaos. Like that time he was reduced to being a crash dummy after being flicked away by Megatron. But 1 of the most noticeable moments would have to be during Transformers Age of Extinction. During a high speed chase sequence 4 rockets are fired into a crowd of vehicles. A truck is hit causing Bumblebee and Optimus to have to transform out of their vehicle modes and crash through another truck. If you look closely you'll notice that the guy sitting in the passenger seat of the truck is Michael Bay himself. This is. - Ігри

He's a prodigy when it comes to action. He just has no respect for continuity, lore, or scaling.

@@filoz2005That would have definitely been the way to go. Michael Bay is a fantastic director, but his complete disregard for continuity and logic means that the actual stories themselves are best handled by more competent writers.
The only things anyone has ever said about Michael Bay are that he hires some great visual effects guys, he's a great businessman, a great promoter, a great marketer, and a lousy filmmaker! No one has ever compared him to Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, James Cameron, or Stanley Kubrick. So you're actually right about what people say about him and nothing proves otherwise.
The guy's one of the best to ever do it.
And not just with the Transformers, but any other movie he's made.

Half of Michael bays movies made over a billion dollars while rise of beasts is the lowest grossing movie in the franchise by extremely far margin which on its own shows that the movie was a flop.

Don’t forget in the final battle when Cade is trying to assist Optimus and Lockdown, one of them blasts a shot in his direction shattering the wall he’s hiding in, and for a split second Bay just spawns in right behind him to feel the pleasure of being in an explosion or something

He was screaming when he was flicked by Megatron, so he didn't die from being flicked and probably lived to tell the tale.
I kinda like this more than Tekken 1 & 2. Sucks how our guys Paul, Lee, King, Armor, & Yoshimitsu are treated as background characters. Bruce only being in 1 scene. Anna just getting killed, instead of avoiding that Dinosaur. Not showing how Lee got adopted by Heihachi. And how we never got a sex scene between Jun & Kazuya, which could’ve ended with Jun giving birth to Jin, right after Kazuya disappeared from Jun, without knowing he’s a father. But still a good 1 hour movie, while Bloodlines & Blood Vengeance were both a blast.
