I worked EXTRA HARD on the instrumental for this so please listen with headphones as I PANNED all the harmonies to EACH EAR as well as the FOUR guitar parts I recorded
I did it all in logic and then moved to pro tools to track the lead vocals and I remembered I learned about melodyne so I experimented with it on one line at the end.
I had also completely forgotten about the last two verses? I look from the wings at the play you are staging?? Damn.
Anyway it's only been a week since I posted last! Update: I loved the barbie movie

The verse from the anthology 3 version started and my interest was peaked but then 2:57 hit and my soul just about left my body, the clashes are so perfect!
I'm now like a sailor at sea hooked by the sirens singing...
Her voice just gave my brain a much needed massage.
This song always makes me think of my dad. He would sing it to me as a child while strumming on his old sticker covered acoustic guitar. You do a great job with the layered vocals especially, I love that! More Beatles please. I never get tired of your Beatles covers.

Yes! I so love good harmonies (i.g. Beach Boys) and Lucy is always spot on with her harmonies...even on the "naughty notes" ( minor flats) which are, to me, so enriching.

Long time no see! had to come back to acknowledge this exceptional cover.. Literally my all time favorite song from George Harrison. I used to listen to and watch the music video for this on repeat back in high school as its just so emotional and creative. I hope you make more beautiful Beatles covers in the future, such as "the long and winding road" but no rush, as art like this takes time but is well worth the wait. Great job yet again :)

I know this is a completely out of pocket thing to say but I have always said the Beatles missed the mark with how they produced that song. It should have been slow and haunting like this. Incredible job.
