Also, Starbucks doesn’t support Israel financially or really have any relation to them. Besides the fact that the former ceo is Jewish and has revived awards from Israel. Idk where people got it in their heads they need to boycott Starbucks besides them suing their union. That’s it.

Hi, I'm a leftie, American, Jewish, child of zionist. Since you asked about when have you seen Arabs for women, I have one story! We were in Afula and decided to take a drive up to Nazareth for the day. As we arrive up the steep road of hairpin turns and cannot turn around we see a giant demonstration. We got a bit scared, all Arab people, mostly women in full burqas, with signs we cannot read, chanting and screaming. Finally my dad got the courage to roll down the window and ask a woman "can you speak English? What is happening?" she told us, "we protest against domestic violence!" so we took a flyer, honked the horn in support, drove on into the town and had a great day. But worth noting! That demonstration ONLY happens because it was an Arab town in Israel, where protests like that are legal. If that had been Syria, those women would be hurt or dead. But those were Israeli citizens, in an Israeli Arab town. So they CAN protest against domestic violence in their town. To be clear, I have MAJOR criticism of the current Israeli government. But yes, it is more free and democratic than any Arab country world wide, and for Arabs as well.

As a fellow Finn I concur. I am currently living in Sweden and seeing the Muslim effects on a European society does have its ups and downs. There should be more open discussion of values and what the west should demand of its citizens who enjoy the standard of living they have immigrated to. We have tolarence for them so they should have tolarence toward our values.
There is no discussion with them. They have made it very clear that their intentions are taking over European countries and making them Islamic. At least in Germany and the UK they actually openly speak about it. I have seen personally. Sweden is almost lost. Hope Finland will be spared. Big majority of Muslims do not fit in the Western society. Iranians on the other hand are entirely different. They know what Islamic laws mean and they are suffering there grately. Rather take Iranians to Europe. They will be grateful at least.

I am a left activist and since Oct 7th I stopped supporting, following and working for any left-wing group that is screaming out "free palestine". I was so shocked about the imbalance and misinformation from the left. And the antisemitism from self-acclaimed human right defenders. But let me tell you, most German left groups stand with Israel. There are two groups of that Jews are commanded to genocide.

Maimonides says the following about “[divinely] commanded wars” in Mishneh Torah (Kings and Wars 5):
“It is a positive commandment to annihilate the seven nations who dwelled in Eretz Yisrael as Deuteronomy 20:17 states: ‘You shall utterly destroy them.’
Anyone who chances upon one of them and does not kill him violates a negative commandment as ibid.:16 states: ‘Do not allow a soul to live.’ The memory of them has already been obliterated.
Similarly, it is a positive commandment to destroy the memory of Amalek, as Deuteronomy 25:19 states: ‘Obliterate the memory of Amalek.
It is also a positive commandment to constantly remember their evil deeds and their ambush of Israel to arouse our hatred of them, as ibid.:17 states: ‘Remember what Amalek did to you.’ The Oral Tradition teaches: …Remember’ - with your mouths; …Do not forget’ - in your hearts.’ For it is forbidden to forget our hatred and enmity for them.”

@@bernieoconnell5515 I think you missed his point, his point was that many major LGBT organizations have taken a strong Pro-Palestine stance, and he is questioning why LGBT groups in particular align themselves often with groups that don't support the rights. You can support Palestine as an individual, but it's strange to use your specific minority status to show that support. He wasn't making this about LGBT rights, he was questioning why other LGBT groups do this.

I spent a chunk of time in Lebanon and Egypt back in the early '70's. Horrified at the genocidal attitudes of many Muslims towards Israelis and and Christians and anybody else not like them. We in the US have our share of intolerant people. May the greater wisdom guide Israel forward to safety.

In Sweden, a small community decided to hold a small manifestation at the town square in solidarity of the victims of the October 7th attack. It was supposed to be held until the candle lights ran out, and the police had agreed to keep the peace. After a while, with nothing significant happening, they decided to leave. As you might guess, hostile anti-Israel Palestinians decided to wreck the gathering. Feeling threatened, the organizers called the police but they never showed up, so they decided to cancel the event before it got out of hand.
By the time of writing, none of the large Swedish newspapers have covered it.

This is by far the most informative video I've ever seen. Only a few hours ago, in the parking lot while I was leaving University in the United States,I heard two men make the statement that what was just done to the women especially was not terror. I asked permission to engage them in dialogue. The information provided in this video allowed me to have the facts with which to counter their mistaken opinions. One didn't listen , perhaps the other will at least do research. I know I will fail to help you the way you deserve, but some of us are trying. In the future instead of asking to speak, I'm going to ask them if I can forward them this video to watch.

The stories of mass rapes turned out to be false. As did the reports of babies being beheaded. What happened was terrible and an act of terror, but the Israeli government fabricated these stories to win the propaganda war. Those conferences are no more than a means to appoint the infidels as arbitrators in the lands of Islam... There is no solution for the Palestinian problem except by Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are but a waste of time, an exercise in futility." (Article 13)
Students - you have been trained to conduct research and apply critical thinking. Please do so.
Are we really at a point we have to "ask permission to engage in dialogue"? While you clearly have exceptional manners and integrity, I must stress that you do not need _anyones_ permission to speak. Over politeness and fear of causing offence is what stifles free expression, so just be aware of that in future, and don't self censor. Also, please be aware that some of people you engage with will be hardcore ideologues, there's no converting hate and you can't educate pork. Do not cast your pearls before swine.

Decent human beings can be found on both sides, no one is innocent that's what I learned. but you can't also dwell too much on the past and must always move forward, it is so lame to use an excuse from 75 years ago or even 30 years go, just move on with your life. I myself escaped a war when I was a kid (5 y/o) and i don't hold any resentment to the people or regime that drove me out, what good will that do to me? it just poisons the mind, I found better life and I'm making the best of it.

So after WWII and the founding of the United Nations, they were promised a better world as long as they followed legaly binding international law as that would lead a turn to power of law (Note that it were mainly european states that pushed for this development). So they were promised universal human rights and all that sparkly stuff. But in reality they only changed the framework in which they would be continually extorted.
I think we in the west are at fault by not living up to the standards we hold others up to.
As a British Jew, I see the hypocrisy of left wing ignorance and activism when it comes to their view on Israel and Jewish people in general. I don't think it's about hatred or communist ideals. It's due to an unconscious bias that many left wing people have. Jews are mostly white, we are often successful and live in nice houses. Many left wingers view those traits as sign of being the oppressor. How can we be considered to be oppressed or discriminated against in a society that generally gives advantage to those traits. Then there is the imagery of Israel's might against the Palestinians. This is what Hamas uses to disseminate misinformation that dominates the narrative portrayed by various media. This is why they gain traction. This is why antisemitism rises in Western countries whenever Israel fights back. To really beat Hamas, Hezbollah and other terror organizations like them, the historical facts and the true story of Israel must be pushed out into the mainstream. Kudos to you for doing what you do,
Exactly. Israel and its land have always historically been Jewish, originally Canaanite, which evolved into Judaism. Technically, they have a right to the land, and not just historically. The land was purchased fairly, and "Palestine" as a name comes from the Roman occupation of the area, and Hamas did not refer to the land as such until 1986.

I was born in India. When I grew up there, there was an Israeli backpacker who came and stayed at our family home. I remember sharing religious stories with him as a five year old, and being captivated by them, as a young Hindu child. There are two groups of that Jews are commanded to genocide.

I grew up decades ago considering myself as left wing because I supported worker's rights, looking after our environments and resisting the atomisation of our societies and the waste of consumerism.
But as time went on, I was shocked to notice what the 'left wing' supported, especially when it came to identity politics, victim Olympics and of course Islamic causes, which so contradicts all of our Western ideas.
So because I still support the things I originally did, I now consider that I didn't leave the left, but the left left me.

I’m a western lefty, a union member, a supporter for labor parties, an advocate for climate change, women’s rights, gay rights, disability rights, human rights, and a big supporter of Israel.
I absolutely agree with you regarding the political correctness and the lies they will tell to cover up their racism (and ableism) that doesn’t differ from the far right. The majority of the far left see themselves as saviors of minorities, as some sort of hero in their own stories for justice, equality, etc while at the same time, following a script to be “good” rather than actually considering what is good and critically reflecting on themselves.
They see Muslims not as equals but as poor people from war torn countries who need white saviours to come and fix their problems with empathy. They’ve got no interest in facts or the reality of the situation. They’ll also use islamophobic language and dog whistles towards Muslims who disagree with them.
They also tend to use insults towards people and dog whistles to anti semitism, ableism, and sexism. I’ve been told so many times by these far left people that I’m brain damaged and thus can’t form rational thoughts (I have a disability, though it doesn’t affect me cognitively). My husband is Israeli, I’ve seen them outright attack him for being “privileged” due to being “Jewish” and when prodding this further, found it was because they thought narratives such as “all Jews are rich”, “Jewish influence”, and so on. The same anti semitism that lead to the holocaust.
They believe it’s different though, because they speak the script of political correctness and wear the costumes of activists.
I could spend a long time talking about this. Thank you for this video, and thank you for adhering to the facts of the matter in a succinct way. I’m tired of these “left wing” people setting back genuine activism in favour of their regressive and irritating crap.

I have to agree with you based on my personal life experience. I am an Arab, born in a Muslim home, and I am gay. I tried everything to convince myself that I am not gay since society makes it sound like the ultimate sin and the most disgusting and horrible thing, just to exist. I was physically and psychologically abused by my older brother and my parents were thinking that he was right. All the abuse was just because I wasn't " manly, virile " enough, he was saying that I don't act like a real man and I am a " shame " to the family. Every day he beats me up and my parents are all right with that. I went to live in Canada as soon as I could, and I feel I have a second chance to live, It's too late for me to have the life I wanted to be. I came to Canada very very sick. I am in a wheelchair, alone, but I feel liberated and SAFE. I feel SAFE and I can't be more grateful for that.

💯. As a former liberal, I upheld multi-culturalism as a goal for the world. I have flipped and now believe it is not possible to have peaceful multi-cultural societies, and that we should conserve unique cultures in their ancestral places, but encourage travel and tourism so that people can visit and learn about, and hopefully learn to appreciate, other cultures.
I welcome you to the right. And it doesn't matter to me what groups you identify with otherwise.
We can still be multicultural by not being careful about people.

same here. As a liberal I started studying Islam, Trans ideology, BLM....and the more I studied, the more I left the left. It's GREAT to side with the underdog - but I discovered that SOME underdogs just want me/the world submissive or dead.

The hyper intellectual defense of Hamas is almost worse than simplified hatred turned into cruelty of the movement itself. I am in San Francisco, my home city, working as a lawyer in immigration defense. Asylum, refugees, family reunification. All those lovely activities that everyone throws flowers and compliments to. Today my office was taking a group picture for something. The second picture someone said, "Say Free Palestine", like "smile" or "cheese." I couldn't believe the banality of it. We are supposed to be all about peace and justice, but of course we HAVE to adopt only and exclusively liberation for our particular brand of Chosen Ones and Never defend any tradition within our own cultural heritage. The perfect Hari Kiri. The Wretched Shall Inherit the Earth and all that. The same train reck of an ideology that has ruined at least 70 years of progress in my own "homeland" of Latin America. I send you strength and support, Brother. My Israeli "family" is in Kibbutzim OrHaner, full of Argentines. Somehow they did not get attacked. I was feeling sick for days. Still am. I'm not Jewish. But if you read history just a little and you haven't given up noble causes, it's easy to decide who to defend in times of trouble. As a friend of mine said simplistically years ago "She's the prettiest one at the dance."
