Itachi Uchiha (うちはイタチ, Uchiha Itachi) was a ninja of Konohagakure's Uchiha clan that served as an Anbu Captain. He later became an international criminal after murdering his entire clan, sparing only his younger brother, Sasuke. He afterwards joined the international criminal organisation known as Akatsuki, whose activity brought him into frequent conflict with Konoha and its ninja - including Sasuke - who sought to avenge their clan by killing Itachi. Following his death, Itachi's motives were revealed to be more complicated than they seemed and that his actions were only ever in the interest of his brother and village, making him remain a loyal shinobi of Konohagakure to the very end.

Itachi is one of those characters that you want to not like but he is low key relatable
@Sayed Hasan Yeah at the sacrifice of everyone and everything else. Even though most of his "Sacrifices" were actually him sacrificing other people, and some of those "Sacrifices" were un-fucking-necessary.
The only thing relatable about him is his dedication. That's about it.
@Sayed Hasan I honestly don't care how old Itachi was. Once you put on that fucking head band you're legally an adult. Itachi is extremely mature and intelligent (Not just having the brain capacity, he was much more mature and level headed, than some adults) and he was involved in politics to an extent, he killed, stole, lied, and had much more responsibilities compared to most other 12-13 year olds. He was stressed out and didn't have the best childhood. That's the most sympathy he'll get from me. He chose to kill off his clan now he has to accept the fucking consequences. I'm not going to shrug off every single fucking crime he committed because he was 12-13. He was old enough to know right from wrong and he knew he was taking another human being's, DEFENSELESS human being's lives so he has to own up to that. They were CIVILIANS. He was an anbu captain they might as well been tied up. They stood no chance and he decided to commit genocide and kill a bunch of fucking civilians who wouldn't EVEN PARTICIPATE in the fucking revolt BECAUSE they were civilians. They were running and screaming and pleading for their lives and he mercilessly ran and cut them down and proceeded to look at himself in a good light. He couldn't even accept the fact that what he did was wrong and basically called the entire uchiha clan corrupted and labeled them as bad people. *"But it was necessary right?"* It was HIS decision in the end not danzo's, not fucking shisui's, not konoha's, HIS decision.. HE chose to do it when there were alternatives, so he has to face the music. Do you really believe the hokage or anyone else for that matter would promote Itachi if they thought he wasn't capable of handling the responsibility that came with said promotion? Personally Itachi can be trialed as an adult in my head because the fucker clearly illustrated to the entire fucking village that he's mature enough to not only be an anbu but an anbu that LEADS other fucking anbu. Don't try to even make me acknowledge the little age bullshit it means nothing in my beautiful black eyes.
It doesn't even matter if there were no children in the fucking clan or not, it could've been all fucking adults it doesn't matter. He decided to murder every single person because the elders of the uchiha clan committed a crime. *"But it was necessary right?"* Prison was an option because they were conspiring to commit treason but nope apparently killing everyone, even those who weren't involved was a much better option. And I REFUSE to sit here and acknowledge the cliche "Oh every Uchiha wanted to do the coup" bullshit cause there's no fucking way every Uchiha even knew about the goddamn coup. Don't even try to pull that "Oh all uchihas were actually really bad and arrogant" Then you're no fucking different from fuckers like hitler. Imagine all the genocides and horrible things that went down in history because of race or culture... They all started because some fucking idiot said some shit like "They are all the same." If you honestly think what Itachi did was necessary and he's in the right you're most likely the same and you'd most likely commit the same genocides you see in those history books.
Just gonna let you know there were SEVERAL Uchiha's who didn't care or know about the fucking coup in the first place. I wholely doubt the civilians of the Uchiha clan even fucking knew about it. Why would they tell them at all? So their plans could be fucking leaked to the Hokage and have the entirety of the fucking leaf village descend on their heads? No, I call bullshit once the fuck again, all the uchiha shinobi were probably placed on some sort of gag order. Itachi used the there'd be a civil war and other villages would attack them, excuse to justify the Uchiha Massacre. He tried to justify genocide with one of the possible eventualities of the possible scenario of a failed coup.
That's like killing off an entire city because one person contracts some sort of a disease that may or may not be contagious and the rest of the people can become diseased and we're not 100% if they're diseased already or not. So lets just fucking nuke them all. Fucking hilarious.
What he did to Sasuke was completely unnecessary and shows more about what I hate about him as a character. He even tried to use his stupid fucking bird to FORCE, TO MANIPULATE Sasuke into FORCEFULLY being loyal to Konoha. It's like he just gets shittier the more you dwell on his faults.
He loves his little brother so much he'd take away his free will, his fucking freedom, and force him into going back to konoha despite the fact that they might not even forgive him for leaving them in the first place. They might just make him breeding stock or just say "Fuck it" and kill him. And because you FORCED him to be loyal to the village he wouldn't even fucking fight back. Shaking my mother fucking head. He loves his brother so much he forced him to watch everyone he knows and loves die to the person he loved the most. For 3 days straight. And I think he did it on two separate occasions because that's totally a good fucking idea.
He even goes so far as to call himself a fucking pacifist, yet to find the Kyuubi container (Naruto) he tortured Kakashi for 72 hours straight, and he was perfectly fine with sacrificing possibly hundreds of people simply because they were uchiha's. He just achieved possibly the longest fuckin' collateral, ever recorded. All those people died for something that they most likely didn't even know about. They didn't even get the opportunity to pick which side they'd root for. But yeah he's a pacifist. I could go so much more into depth if I actually cared enough (The only thing fueling this was my irritation) but seriously don't reply to me and try to justify any of the shit Itachi does.

Flaws that are so bad they can't even be matched by that of real fucking people? That's the whole fucking thing about the show. Every important character is flawed in some way or used to be flawed.
