Kia Ora helpful thanks....um when do you know they are ready to harvest ? My Kamokamo plant turns out is a Hue plant so Ive now got three Hue .... hanging down.
Kia ora Mr OG Native. Please could you tell me, why use the nostril to play the flute and not the mouth? Seems somewhat inconvenient, however, I don't know since I don't play.
Kia ora e hoa. Patai Pai. I will give you my understanding the hā breath from the nose is a different type of sound. Things are separated in to two departments kauae runga, kauae raro upper jaw, lower jaw. Earthly knowledge/celestial. Or physical / spiritual. The breath from nose has that kauae runga wairua to it. So certain places I use the nguru because my intention will be to connect to the Tupuna that have passed ect. that's my whakaaro or version of it. Ngā manakitanga
May I start a challenge to everyone thread?... What else can we do with your hue? Ideas pls. Maracas, torch/candle holder, fishing float... I got more... 😁😁

Funnel, sieve.
Is it hard enough to use as a club, hammer or whakairo mallett ?
I have made lights for a 12 volt lightning system. It would not be hard enough for a mallet. I have seen them used as a pukaea trumpet.
Do you know what the scientific name is? And are they available in Australia to grow do you think?
