These clamp's are excellent idea but at 8" is not long enough for a deep set hook in pike

I understand Rising no longer makes the 6in "Rancher" sissor mitten curved tip pliers. Not sure why but in my opinion was the best made. Any idea why and if anyone knows where I might find a pair or 10! Thanks. PS. I found some 12 inch Ranchers at Feather-Craft but way to big for stream fishing.
