It's plausible that his dislike for Malcolm boiled over to Eddie insulting his girlfriend.

When I first heard about her low self esteem issues due to her roll on Malcolm and Eddie, it just blew my mind! Because years ago when she was attending Howard University, she and I worked as counselors at this summer camp for kids. Man…..I remember drooling over her thinking how fine she was! She was a bad lil vixen to me! Especially when we would take the kids to the swimming pool. Man…..her in a bathing suit!!! 👀👀👀 Wow!!! It’s funny to me now because I used to chase after her boy! But she wouldn’t give me the time of day back then. Lol…. That’s why the news of her being so distraught about her appearance just blew me!!! I know Hollywood can be a tough business and if you don’t handle it, it will handle you! I’m glad she bounced back, but I wish she was as strong as Halle Bailey. She to received a lot of backlash about her appearance on a national level. However, she was in fact so strong and confident in herself that she never let it take her down publicly. She always maintained herself self esteem and continued to shine.

I’ll never forget when I first moved to Philly ten years ago to pursue art school. I picked up a part time job at the Macy’s in Center City, downtown. This particular day I was in women’s coats. While at the register a woman walks up to purchase a coat and I couldn’t believe it was Karen!! All I said was “are you?!” and she said “Yes”😩🤣❤️ she’s gorgeous! I wanted to say Mr. Clark Mr.Clark so bad lol. She’s seems to be a kind woman.

From The Cosby Show to Lean On Me to Fresh Prince to A Different World to Roc to Hangin' With Mr Cooper to Malcolm & Eddie she has always stood out as an actress in the projects that I have seen her in. She was even in Snowfall. I know she has done cartoon voice work as well.
