Everyone here, listen to me and trust me. I am from Australia and have owned the game since 23/8. This game is my favorite action game ever. The gameplay, the music, the dialog, the characters and their personalities. Everything is perfect and this game was placed with my heart in terms of gaming, alongside Zelda titles, metroid prime etc. Trust me, you need this game. Don't hesitate and go get it!
This game may seem casual but it has punishing difficulty and some surprising suggestive themes. It is more hardcore than most games on Ps3 and Xbox 360. Ask anyone who has played this game if it is a "kids game." I'd bet money they would say no.

I've never been a huge action game fan (not because I didn't like them, but because I've never got the chance to play them deep, and I'm also not someone who prefers really difficult games) but with W101 made me a fan of games that want me to learn by my own all the details and surprises they have. Americans, buy the game please.

Did you try it with doing those moves with right stick if you did not like the touch drawing of those objects? - Planning on buying Bayonetta 2? I compared pre-alpha demo of Bayonetta 2 to release version of Bayonetta and I can say it looks way better in detail and draw distance :)
That's true. Europe and Japan deserve it first, knowing that almost every game this year came out in America first, which I don't think is fair. We get almost every game first here in the US, and I'm glad Europe and Japan are getting this first.

yes you have the option to continue or to quit then you continue, your result marks go down drastically. Also during any mission you have the ability to switch the difficulty level if things get too tough. (Hard mode is damn challenging hah)
Have to disagree, but I respect your opinion. 101 looks like a very unique, fast paced game, and it's a game we probably won't ever see again; it's that unique. Gameplay has me worried, but I'll be getting it as well. So we'll see.

Never say never, slade. Just because Nintendo and PlatinumGames have made a game that's new and original doesn't mean that we won't be seen again. Gameplay takes practice and some patience. Once you get used to the gameplay, it becomes second nature. My advice to you is to download The Wonderful 101 demo. If you like the HD graphics, challenging play control and overall fun, BUY IT! Later this week, I'm buying TW101. And I'm sure that you'll enjoy the game as well. Deuces.
Damn, for any one saying that the Wii U is under powered compared to ps4 and xbox one, with graphics like that, I say so fucking what. Those are amazing graphics
I'm getting this game tomorrow and will be doing a review on it shortly. I have to admit I was not that impressed with this game as I should be at first and felt that I was only buying this game to support the U and 3rd party support as well.. Now after seeing more vids and playing the DEMO I am excited for it and want to see what else this game has to offer me and others.

But in destructoid got a 9, in IGN Italy 9.5, IGN Spain 9.2, Eurogamer Germany 9, 9.4 in LevelUp, 9.8 in Atomix, 100 in Eurogamer Germany, etc. Reviews are just opinions, you either like the game or not. This game is made not for those who only want to "see whats next" but for those who wants to play, replay, and master the game. It's not a game for everyone (not for all the reviewers because you know they're people) but that doesn't make it a bad game.
I wonder how it is funny since the PS2 days were back when it didn't matter about power or hardware and exclusives sold the PS2. Nowadays most everything on PS or Xbox is on PC anyway and PCs are just so much better at the job of running these games.

If you have someone making decisions for you and telling you what games to like or not, that's your decision. I on the other hand will be enjoying this game because it's fun to me.
it got mediocre reviews because most critics didn't take the time to learn the controls and mechanics. The controls have a learning curve but once you learn how to play, it's a really great game.
I could create an opinion first, but after playing the demo I can say, that the game is awesome! :D I'm going to pick it up soon. (And with "soon", I mean before christmas) First Rayman Legends and Pokemon X/Y have to be played! ^^

Reviews don't mean much. Look at it this way. Reviewers plays a bunch of games to review in a limited time. They don't have the luxury of replaying the same game or taking their time to get the full enjoyment out of it. On top of that, because they have to play games for their job they get sick of playing games. Now put Wonderful 101 in that reviewing situation. They don't have the patience to learn how the game works and this game is meant to be played more than once.

I bought Wind Waker Hd, and I can't finish it because I spend all my time playing The Wonderful 101 in hard mode.
