Loved the background history: "This EP is the result of the craziest challenge we ever set ourselves. In the end of 2016 we got an offer to take part in a european tour with Thrash Metal bands (Havok, Warbringer & Exmortus). The day before Christmas, we made the decision to release something new and that would fit with the bands involved in this upcoming tour. We had only two months left to create the whole thing, music, lyrics and artwork. This extreme rush compelled us to work in a totally different way than usual and we had to get straight to the point. This is Gorod's most spontaneous piece of work since now twenty years of existence and we hope you will enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it."
this sounds like SOD on steroids. not bad but you guys better go back to what you have been doing since "A Perfect Absolution" it may not be rewarding nowadays but it will some day for sure.
They almost certainly will. Everything indicates that this EP was made just for this thrash metal tour and, above all, for fun.

hey sheehan, i'm not concerned about the genre, it could be anything as long as they keep the technicality and virtuosity from their previous albums. thrash metal is way too played and worn-out and the last tech-thrash i remember was Stone's "No Anesthesia!" back in 1989. death metal is more of a broad music in that aspect, that's why death took over the thrash scene in the early 90's. don't get me wrong i have nothing against doing thrash-metal today, but coming from a tech-death metal background is like slowing their ass down. in other words, death-metal can be compared to thrash as Jazz to blues. in this case tech-death metal is the big dady!
For some reason, this might be the best raw Gorod album....no matter the style, excellence at its best. French masters.

A good rule of thumb is to buy everything Gorod puts out.
Gorod are so fucking creative. They can do whatever they want because they fucking nailed it.
They should do an EP for a bunch of subgenres they're into.
Everyone listening to this is awesome and touched by the metal gods.

This EP is even better than I'd hoped for :O sick thrash from the prog/tech masters.
My opinion is obviously subjective, but I have not heard a single bad song that they have made. This EP is incredible, regardless of their intent or time constraints creating it.

Wow! now this is something new actually, I did not like last album pretty much, but this one is new comming from you guys, can't decide if i like more this new Gorod or the old one, really hard to decide. By the other hand I like tech death and thrash, so, keep doing whatever you're trying to do haha, this is really nice!!

The production was super thin on it, compared to A Perfect Absolution. Solid album musically, but it definitely deserves a remaster.
