Vilnius: Opening of the gala concert Folklore Festival Baltica (1) Eröffnung Galakonzert # 29/6/2024

(D/ENG) Die Eröffnungsansprache wurde unter anderem durch den ehemaligen litauischen Kulturminister Herrn Mindaugas Kvietkauskas gehalten.
Das Gala-Konzert fand in einem aus meiner Sicht der schönsten Veranstaltungsseääle, die ich kenne, dem Kongresszentrum in Vilnius, mit einer herausragenden guten Akustik statt. In diesem Film werden verschiedene Klänge und Geräusche aus der Natur mit Stimmen und Instrumenten von verschiedenen Plätzen des Saales aus durch die Künstlerinnen und Künstler zu einer einzigartigen Klangkokollage zusammengefügt.

The opening speech was delivered by, among others, the former Lithuanian Minister of Culture, Mr. Mindaugas Kvietkauskas.
The gala concert took place in what I consider to be one of the most beautiful event halls I know, the Vilnius Congress Centre, with outstanding acoustics. In this film, the artists combine various sounds and noises from nature with voices and instruments from different places in the hall to create a unique sound collage.
